Reflections on a Strange Year
Happy New Year everyone.
This is the last stack of the year, and I felt like reflecting on a year that I find hard to describe.
It’s the year where increased death and disease was normalized.
Old people dying left right and center. Young people too.
Everyone else with heart problems, cancers, neurological problems, injuries, surgeries that simply won’t heal properly, infections that won’t go away and off course recurring Covid and working from home.
And this is normal.
“It could have been so much worse.”
What do you call that?
I’m just going to call it 2023.
I cannot find a fitting English word. Maybe there is a long German word that I’m not aware of.
Many people have figured out that their government lied to them about covid and the vaccines and why their family member died and why they lost their job or their business…but those same people have gone back to believing that same government about everything else.
“I stand with Ukraine”, “Israel Good; Hamas Bad”.
What is wrong with everybody? That’s rhetorical, don’t answer that…
Anyway, closer to home.
I started the year with 2,000 subscribers and have just passed 5,000 (with 60% in the US).
Thanks for joining me on this ride. This Substack is part journal, part study and part sanity project. I enjoy your company and learn plenty from so many of you.
I’ve produced 149 stacks this year, and this will be the 150th.
I’ve produced 8 Book Summaries.
I do wonder at times if they get read and used. Anyway, I’ll keep producing them as they are part of my personal study and learning.

One of my favourite parts of the year was conducting and publishing 7 Interviews.
All amazing and interesting people with plenty of subject matter expertise on really important subjects. I will keep doing interviews in 2024.

I ended up reviewing and writing about 7 Documentaries.
I think that documentaries are the highest impact way of shifting people, so I am always on the lookout for good documentaries to watch, review and promote. Happy to receive suggestions.

I’ve started a new Book Club, UnBOOKoming Conversations, for discussions about important books. More in 2024.
This Substack was started to help people understand the covid lies but mainly to help them protect themselves against covid vaccination. It was helpful to many. I’m not going to be writing about that much more. By now it is what it is.
The next main category of learning and writing became childhood vaccination. Reflecting on what I did to my kids, and trying to help anyone that will listen to not do it to theirs. I know it has been helpful for some. I will continue to write about Childhood Vaccination.
This year was the year of “seeing Empire” for me. The first time I used the word Empire was in April 2023. I will continue to write about Empire.
The most recent high-level category of writing has been about Cancer. With Cancer on the rise and widespread corruption and ignorance within the academy and industry of Cancer, I’ve chosen to make a study of it and continue to write about it. There will be more Cancer stacks in 2024.
As you know everything here has always been free and will continue to be so.
For those that have paid for a subscription, you have my thanks and appreciation.
It’s late now, on the last night of 2023 here in Sydney, so let’s wrap this up.
One must do what one can do.
None of us can slay Empire, but all of us can help the next person. That’s it.
One step at a time, one person at a time, while safeguarding an optimism for the future.
If our optimism goes, if our humor goes, they win. That would be unbecoming.

Unbekoming
Thank you for all your efforts- you truly are amazing and I speak on behalf of many others who appreciate all you do even though they don’t leave a comment. I look, at the end of this year, and wonder how far we have come in alerting the ignorant. It’s hard to tell, since many have self imposed lockjaw. This makes our job harder but, as you point out, we must continue on as humanity itself is at stake. God only knows what infects the minds of some to inflict so much damage on the unsuspecting majority. My only consolation is knowing that we are on the right side of history and our conscience is clear. We have done and continue to do our best. Whilst the jab injured suffer physically, we, the aware, suffer psychologically and emotionally knowing full well the evil that is taking place while feeling the urgent need to awaken those who have no desire to know the truth. None of us come out unscathed from this diabolical agenda unfolding before our very eyes. Never-the-less, please keep up the good work- I look forward to your posts in 2024.
