I’ve been following the work of a new account on Twitter (I don’t like calling it X).

He (I’m pretty sure he’s a he) is doing absolutely great work, especially on the subject of childhood vaccination. He is well worth following and learning from.
The Tweet pinned to his profile referenced the video in the masthead. It said:
This is genuinely one of the greatest works of art of all time. Whoever made this had a profound knowledge of this world and how it's been taken over and subverted. From start to end, it hits you in the gut as objective truth. We all know something is wrong, but no video summarizes everything that's wrong so perfectly and accurately.
I kept walking past the video without making the required 13 minutes to sit down and watch it.
Well, I finally did. I’ve watched it a few times already.
It’s an animated short film titled In-Shadow from November 2017.
I suspect over the coming years I’ll come back to it again and again.
He’s right. It’s a very important work. It’s a mediation.
You need a deep understanding of the 180 degree inversion that has happened in the West to make something like this.
I wonder what I would have thought if I had watched it in February 2020, when I was comfortable in my deep sleep. I’m sure I would have claimed understanding, maybe even deep understanding, because even those in a deep sleep “understand” their dreams; “understand” the flickering shadows on the walls.
I was curious who made it.

The shadow is a subject I’ve been interested in for a long time. I wrote about it here.
Alot of things have been shoved into our shadows during the GMC, and we are going to need to better our understanding of our shadows and also get better at integrating them back into the whole.
Lubomir is Canadian.
What is it about Canadians, there are so many great Canadians!
It reminds me of two other great Canadians, brothers, that produce the Academy of Ideas content.
In-Shadow connects with a recent video they did, The Big Lie.
The Big Lie includes this beauty:

This is not one of my long articles. I just wanted to make more people aware of the brilliant animated short, and Arsov’s work.
