Two of my readers shared their stories, in response to my stack on Mucosal Immunity, and specifically to my newfound scepticism on body part removal:
My default posture now to all “removal” is that there is likely a collection of untruths, lies and incentives that have led up to the surgery.
I felt they deserved highlighting.

Dad was experiencing pain for some time, so his doctors removed his gall bladder, a major filter.
I begged him not to do so but he is a lab-coat-wearer-worshiper. If Big Bird put on a lab coat and told him to cut off his (I’ll make this G-rated) EAR, well he and Van Gogh could be twins.
So, about the same time, two things happened at our home.
My hubs had been super busy with work. I noticed that no matter WHAT I did, the house was always quite dusty. Turns out, when your filter cleaner hubs forgets to clean the filter (gall bladder) for months, the entire house suffers repercussions. When he remembered to check the filter, he said it was actually making a wheezing sound!
Meanwhile, our pool kept becoming green in record time. I’m the pool “guy” so, I kept dumping in chemicals, blaming an influx of extra swimmers/ the high heat/etc. Finally, I realized something more was happening.
A tiny piece of the filter pump was rusted which was causing the mechanism to jump tracks and stop filtering! The gall bladder wasn’t gall bladdering and the pool (and our chemical bill) was suffering! When the guy finally figured it out, he said the filter was so clogged, with so much gunk, the pipes were actually shuddering and leaking. Did we want to fix the shuddering and leaking and green issue? Yep.
Did we simply REMOVE the filter? No. That would make a NON-sparkling blue LAKE, no matter how many chemicals we dumped in there. We FIXED the filter.
Here’s the rub:
About 16 months after Dad removed his gall bladder, his pain returned, full force, in the exact same spot, PLUS he has other aches and pains throughout his body. His doctors claim this has nothing to do with his lack of a gall bladder.
I personally think “dust and algae” have been allowed to circulate freely, but what do I know?

Anecdotally, I had my tonsils out when I was about four, because that was deemed by the doc to be the solution to my continual bouts of sore throats, rummy noses, and wheezing coughs that drove my mother nuts, not to say I wasn't traumatized by those ordeals, too, to say the least.
However, forever afterwards, I suffered more extreme effects of respiratory ailments, with the most frightening being at death's door in my seventh year with bronchial pneumonia.
In my early twenties, I got a very bad dose of flu that laid me out completely, but after shivering relentlessly I discovered the cure for 'it' was when I piled on the blankets to get warm and essentially cooked 'it' out of existence. That's how I learned to live with all forms of 'it' ever since then, and luckily have dodged any bad dose of 'it' most of this century. Keeping hydrated and 'overdosing' on Vit C undoubtedly helped, too.
Hence my skepticism about what I thought was always a treatable 'disease' saved me from suffering the effects of a junk jab that had no chance whatsoever of doing anything other than causing much harm, but at great profit to Phraudsters far and wide, so it turned in reality.

I’ve been of the same mindset as you for 30 years. We need all our organs and body parts. I also had a tonsillectomy at age 4-5. I was the sickest of my 3 siblings. Hope your dad finds healing. Is he taking pancreatic enzymes to digest fats? He may have gallstones stuck in the bile ducts. Same thing happened to an uncle of mine. Great article!
I come from different times and different lands lol. That was always the case, you just had to sweat it out. Ok, done. Now, change the pajamas and back under the doona lol Body needs to be allowed to do its job and heal. I remember my
brother was just over two yrs old and had worryingly high fever and mum got a sheet, wet it with very cold water and wrapped it around him. And did it again and again. There was no medication to give and I'm so grateful for that, both my brother and myself have been very healthy all our lives and I credit the lack of medical intervention and good nutrition for that.
