Once he was on board with the concept, however, Attenborough quickly became frustrated at the slow pace of action. This was evident in 2013, when he infamously called humans 'a plague on the Earth' because of the effects of climate change and - another issue close to his heart unchecked population growth:

We are a plague on the Earth. It's coming home to roost over the next 50 years or so.
It's not just climate change.
It's sheer space, places to grow food for this enormous horde.
Either we limit our population growth or the natural world will do it for us, and the natural world is doing it for us right now.

My son and I were watching marlin fishing clips on YouTube recently (he’s a serious fisherman) when he brought up a clip of orcas hunting a seal.
He said, “try to ignore the Attenborough commentary”.
I couldn’t remember if or when I’d told him about Attenborough’s climate change propaganda, so I asked him, “have I told you about the walruses?”. Clearly, I hadn’t. So, that’s a signal for me, if my awake 24-year-old doesn’t know the walrus story, most others don’t either…so here we are.
Attenborough lies.
I don’t believe he always lied, but at some point, over the last 10 years he started lying. There are a lot of liars in the world, but none with the reach and influence of Attenborough.
None with his reach and influence on little kids.
For propaganda to be truly effective, it needs to come from a trusted source.
It is most effective when it is “educational” and entertaining. When it is edutainment.
Politics is downstream from culture, which is downstream from education and entertainment.
Propogandist edutainment is a rape of the mind. When targeted at the young, it’s a rape of their mind.
Attenborough lies to children. He is a predator. A psychopredators.
Most people don’t know who Susan Crockford is but she, more than anyone has been doing the investigative work necessary to reveal some of these highly sophisticated lies put out by Attenborough, the BBC and Netflix.

Dr Susan Crockford is a professional zoologist who has specialised in Arctic mammals for many years, particularly polar bears and walrus. She immediately smelled a rat…Her detective work reveals that it was polar bears stalking them that forced the walrus up that cliff, that this is a common hunting tactic and that the bears fed off the carcases below.
She uncovers evidence that WWF knew about this hunting tactic at that location, and that was precisely why this beach was chosen for the film.
She goes on to describe how Attenborough used this horrifying imagery to jump-start a three-year campaign against human-caused global warming that included ten documentaries laden with groundless climate emergency messaging, much of it aimed at the wealthiest and most powerful people in the world. Attenborough’s relentless climate activism included a utopian vision of global changes for society eerily similar to the one proposed by the World Economic Forum.

This is an excellent 13-minutes highlighting Attenborough’s contribution to the climate scare mongering over many years. I hadn’t realised that the whole “polar bears are dying because of climate change” mania of a few years ago was him also.

It’s hard to watch but worth watching as it’s some of the highest quality propaganda in the world at the moment. Every single sentence in the 7-minute presentation is a lie and distortion, that I’m not going to bother addressing here.
It’s worth noting that they turn off the comments to these videos. They know that there is a large growing resistance to their fear mongering, but the truth is that they no longer care. They are not going to play nice anymore and will simply bulldoze their agenda through anything that tries to stand in the way.

Attenborough and his edutainment mind-rape of the young public, is a key component of the transition from the old, normal reality to the new “Reality”, again from CJ Hopkins:
“During the changeover from the old ‘reality’ to the new ‘reality,’ the society is torn apart. The old ‘reality’ is being disassembled and the new one has not yet taken its place. It feels like madness, and, in a way, it is. For a time, the society is split in two, as the two ‘realities’ battle it out for dominance. ‘Reality’ being what it is (i.e., monolithic), this is a fight to the death. In the end, only one ‘reality’ can prevail.”
Some eagle-eyed viewers noted that the placement of Attenborough’s camera crew might have also left his walruses with no choice but to jump off the cliff, since humans were blocking the beach. With polar bears menacing them inland, the walruses could have been caught between the proverbial rock and hard place.
Other sleuths found the filmmakers had engaged in some editing trickery to make it seem that the ‘desperate’ walruses going ashore to the dangerous cliffs were just around the corner from the packed 100,000-strong colony showcased in the documentary. In fact, the two locations were 400 hundred kilometers apart in Russia’s Far East.
Attenborough wasn’t the first to depict the walruses’ death dive as the tragic result of manmade global warming – the group Climate Progress was using the tale to tug at heartstrings as early as 2014, calling the yearly walrus retreats to the land a “real change.” That sob story, too, was debunked – walrus “haul-outs” are actually a sign of healthy population growth, their numbers having rebounded since the outlawing of large-scale hunting, though that didn’t stop the climate change contingent from trying to claim that the makeup of the walrus population was unusual this time, with more females and calves, and maybe that was because of climate change.

Attenborough coolly informs viewers that the walrus would not normally be there, but out on the sea ice. Because of man-made global warming, the poor walrus have been forced on to land in crowded conditions, where they will inevitably suffer and die.

The Indoctrinators, Part 4: David Attenborough - The Conservative Woman
THE High Priest of the quasi-religious climate change cult, Sir David Attenborough, is arguably the most effective propagandist of our age.
With limitless budgets (courtesy of the BBC licence fee-payer) and his undoubted communication gift (in Attenborough’s programmes he invites you into the intimacy of his close-ups; it is you to whom he whispers) used to proclaim his doom-laden ‘climate change’ disinformation
One of the most worrying aspects of the Indoctrinators’ war on humanity is their terrorising of children into believing that the world is going to end because of climate change. A letter sent by Attenborough to a school in Dubai, congratulating them their efforts in ‘saving the planet’, was used to promote a Global Social Leader’s schools’ ‘action project’. School children’s belief that the world is going to end because of climate change, and their resultant climate anxiety, has been shown to have a seriously detrimental affect on their mental health.
If a child watches the dying walrus, and hears Attenborough explain it as a consequence of man-woman-and child-made climate change, that child will feel the weight of responsibility for that walrus’s death.
They will feel the guilt and shame of it. That IS the objective of this propaganda.
So, not only is the child ignorant to the truth, as their ignorance has been constructed, but something else has been constructed, which is their outlook.
Agnotology - Lies are Unbekoming (substack.com)
The premise of agnotology is both simple and profound. Most people think of ignorance as the absence of knowledge. Proctor and others in the field argue the opposite — that ignorance is socially constructed in the same way that knowledge is. Powerful interests instruct society to pay attention to some things and not others through a variety of inducements (you get paid to study certain topics and not others) and punishments (you will be blacklisted if you ask too many questions about forbidden topics). Over time these values become invisible and just a part of culture.
That child can either look up or down at the future. Their chin can be pushed up or down. Their outlook is influenced by the screen.
So, if they turn pessimistic, and depressed, then we can say that their pessimism has been constructed. That is what Attenborough wants to do, he wants to create a deep pessimism about the future, and then he wants to mine that newly created well for activism.
Let’s say that out of a 100 kids who “learn” from Attenborough he is able to mine 5 long term activists, the other 95, left with the heavy blanket of his constructed pessimism can meander listlessly through life, without will, without a smile, without hope, some may suicide, some may never marry, some may choose to never have kids…well, that is a price Attenborough is prepared to pay to save the world.
Attenborough and his climate cohorts are scaring the young into mental illness
It is unclear how we all have responsibility for ‘the future of life’, which managed very well before humans existed and, according to experts of Attenborough’s ilk, will inevitably change according to the laws of evolution in any case.
However, we surely do have responsibility towards each other, especially not to cause unwarranted alarm, and to support the mental health of our young people, which according to many reports is at a nadir.
One large survey found that nearly 60 per cent of young people approached said they felt very worried or extremely worried about the climate issue.More than 45 per cent said such feelings affected their daily lives. Some 75 per cent thought the future was frightening, while 56 per cent think humanity is doomed.
This is all political messaging disguised as Edutainment.
Do what you can to protect your child’s mind from Attenborough and his kind.
