This man comes “correct”. Manners, respect, straightforward. Not able to be easily trapped. Articulate. Trial attorney. He made 8 million last year suing the polluters and poisoners. He’s one of the good guys. He is telegenic like his dad and JFK. - @jaik195701
I’ve been a Republican for 36 years and this is the first time I’m thinking of voting Democrat, very very impressed with Kennedy - @michaelgolato7207
Bobby is going for it, he really is.
First Rogan, and now this Town Hall.

The clip in the masthead is the childhood vaccine section.
You must remember that Bobby is a trial lawyer, and one of the best. You don’t beat industry in court, regularly, for 10s and 100s of millions without being one of the best. As a trial lawyer he knows how to talk to a jury about the most complex of matters.
That’s what he is doing here, he is talking to a jury. It’s masterful.
Listen to the talking points he chooses to focus on. Of the hundreds of different arguments and studies he could point to he chooses:
The absence of true placebo safety testing
The 30-year Danish study of DTP in Africa
These are two perfectly selected points!
And for good measure he throws in:
The chickenpox vaccine and its role in shingles outbreaks
That’s a fantastic trilogy of threads for a jury that knows nothing but “safe & effective”.
He is also making the point that “vaccines are like other medicines” and should be treated and tested accordingly. There is not a man or woman alive, even the most ardent pro-vaxxer, that would disagree with that point and its framing.
He knows what he is doing.
Let’s flesh out each of his 3 threads.
True placebo safety testing
I’ve written at length of this subject before.
And Bobby refers the jury to his CHD website and this letter from HHS from January 2018.
hhs-response-january-29-2018.pdf (childrenshealthdefense.org)
Please explain how HHS justifies licensing any pediatric vaccine without first conducting a long-term clinical trial in which the rate of adverse reactions is compared between the subject group and a control group receiving an inert placebo?
Inert placebo controls are not required to understand the safety profile of a new vaccine, and are thus not required. In some cases, inclusion of placebo control groups is considered unethical. Even in the absence of a placebo, control groups can be useful in evaluating whether the incidence of a specific observed adverse event exceeds that which would be expected without administration of the new vaccine. Serious adverse events are always carefully evaluated by FDA to determine potential association with vaccination regardless of their rate of incidence in the control group. In cases where an active control is used, the adverse event profile of that control group is usually known and the findings of the study are reviewed in the context of that knowledge.
Said in English.
“We don’t use true inert placebos, because we don’t have to, because blah blah blah.”
Chickenpox vaccines and shingles
Bobby refers the jury to the British National Health Service:
“If you go to the British National Health Service website right now you can read on that where they say we do not recommend chickenpox vaccines because it causes shingles epidemics later on and that’s the problem.”
Well, here it is.
Chickenpox vaccine FAQs - NHS (www.nhs.uk)
Why is the chickenpox vaccination not part of the routine childhood immunisation schedule?
There's a worry that introducing chickenpox vaccination for all children could increase the risk of chickenpox and shingles in adults.
While chickenpox during childhood is unpleasant, the vast majority of children recover quickly and easily.
In adults, chickenpox is more severe and the risk of complications increases with age.
If a childhood chickenpox vaccination programme was introduced, people would not catch chickenpox as children because the infection would no longer circulate in areas where the majority of children had been vaccinated.
This would leave unvaccinated children susceptible to contracting chickenpox as adults, when they're more likely to develop a more severe infection or a secondary complication, or in pregnancy, when there's a risk of the infection harming the baby.
We could also see a significant increase in cases of shingles in adults.
Bobby also referred to Dr Gary Goldman and the Antelope Valley study.
Chickenpox Vaccines given to Children result in outbreaks of Shingles in Adults
Key Argument: The universal chickenpox (varicella) vaccine, introduced in the USA in 1996, has increased the cases of shingles in adults by 100%, according to Dr. Gary Goldman1.
Supporting Evidence: Before the introduction of the vaccine, 95% of adults had experienced natural chickenpox, usually as children, and had life-long immunity. Subsequent exposures to natural chickenpox prevented or postponed shingles. The universal chickenpox vaccine compromised the high percentage of people with long-term immunity, as vaccination provides temporary and less effective immunity, making these children susceptible to chickenpox as adults1.
Key Argument: The vaccination programs have shifted chickenpox to a more vulnerable adult population where the disease carries significantly more risk compared to children1.
Key Argument: Dr. Goldman claimed that the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) manipulated data to conceal unwanted outcomes that occurred due to the national chickenpox vaccine program1.
Key Argument: Shingles, also caused by the varicella-zoster virus, is a much more serious issue than chickenpox, manifesting as a painful rash that can affect any nerve in the body1.
Supporting Evidence: 75% of varicella medical costs in the USA at the time of Dr. Goldman's presentation were related to shingles and 25% to chickenpox1.
Key Argument: The FDA had signed an agreement with Merck, the producer of the chickenpox vaccine, acknowledging that the vaccine may increase the incidence of shingles in both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated1.
Key Argument: The decrease in natural chickenpox cases due to mass vaccination has led to a lack of external immunity boost, which could protect adults and postpone the outbreak of shingles1.
Key Argument: Vaccinating children against a less serious disease, chickenpox, causes outbreaks of a more serious disease in adults, shingles1.
Key Argument: The Antelope Valley Varicella Active Surveillance Project, which Dr. Goldman was a part of, was only monitoring chickenpox cases, not shingles, despite the immunological link between the diseases. Dr. Goldman argues this was due to a desire to hide the increase in shingles caused by the chickenpox vaccine1.
Key Argument: Dr. Goldman discovered an unusually high number of shingles cases after the chickenpox vaccine was introduced. He alleges that the CDC refused to publish data on shingles in his study, leading to his resignation from the Surveillance Project1.
Key Argument: Despite facing obstacles from the CDC, Dr. Goldman published his study in 2003, presenting his findings on the correlation between the chickenpox vaccine and the increase in shingles cases1.
The 30 year DTP Denmark study (or The “Aaby Study”)
Now onto the Denmark study mentioned by Bobby.
I think this is quite possibly the most important vaccine study ever conducted, and I’m so glad that Bobby gave it important airtime.
It’s a perfect example of immunological Whac-A-Mole. You think you have fixed this thing over here only to make something else ten times worse. That is the 200 year history of vaccination in a nutshell.
Here is the study.
And here is a plain English summary of the abstract and conclusion.
The study looked at the effects of the DTP (diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis) vaccine and the OPV (oral polio vaccine) on child mortality rates in an urban community in Guinea-Bissau in the early 1980s.
In simpler terms, they were studying how these vaccines affected the number of kids who died before reaching a certain age.
The researchers observed children who had received these vaccines between 3 to 5 months of age and compared them with children who hadn't yet been vaccinated. They found that children who had received the DTP vaccine (sometimes with the OPV vaccine, sometimes without it) had five times the risk of dying compared to children who hadn't received the DTP vaccine yet.
Interestingly, the risk of death was even higher (10 times) for children who received the DTP vaccine but not the OPV. The study also found that the general death rate for infants over 3 months old increased after the introduction of these vaccines.
The conclusion of the study is quite concerning. It suggests that the DTP vaccine, which is widely used globally, may actually be causing more harm than good. Instead of saving lives by preventing diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis, the vaccine might be making children more susceptible to other, unrelated infections leading to increased deaths.
The authors also noted that the effects of routine vaccinations on overall mortality haven't been thoroughly tested in randomized trials, which are the gold standard in medical research for determining if a treatment or intervention is effective. They also expressed concern that future unbiased studies on DTP vaccine's effects might not be possible due to some committee decisions.
This is the key table from the study:
In the town hall, Bobby says that girls where 10 times more likely to die if vaccinated. As the yellow bit I have highlighted above shows, he was under-selling it. It’s 12 times more likely.
The following is an Executive Summary of Bobby’s Town Hall meeting.
Executive Summary
This is a town hall meeting featuring Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is running for the Democratic presidential nomination. The town hall is hosted by NewsNation and is moderated by Elizabeth Vargas. The video starts with a montage of Kennedy's campaign, highlighting his focus on environmental protection, fighting corporate corruption, and safeguarding children from toxic chemicals and drugs. It also mentions his controversial positions on vaccines and Wi-Fi radiation, which have been criticized as misinformation.
Throughout the town hall, Kennedy discusses a wide range of topics, including his views on the Democratic party, the situation in Ukraine, the economy, immigration, drug policy, and vaccines. He often contrasts his views with those of the current administration and the mainstream Democratic party, arguing for a return to the values he believes the party should represent.
Kennedy believes the Democratic party has lost its way and needs to return to its traditional values. He criticizes the U.S.'s involvement in Ukraine, arguing that it has turned the nation into a proxy war between Russia and the U.S. Kennedy believes the U.S. needs to stop spending money on things it can't afford, such as wars and debt servicing.
He proposes building healing centers for addiction treatment, funded by taxing marijuana, which he would decriminalize at the federal level. Kennedy suggests that psychedelic drugs should be legalized in some form, as he believes they can be beneficial for people suffering from conditions like PTSD and severe depression.
On vaccines, Kennedy argues that they should be tested like other medicines and suggests that the current testing process is insufficient. He also criticizes the use of addiction as a political weapon and calls for a de-escalation of vitriol and hatred.
Kennedy also discusses his views on 5G technology, stating that he believes it is dangerous and under-regulated. He suggests that the RF radiation from 5G is associated with various health issues, including cancers and disruptions to the blood-brain barrier.
On the topic of gun violence, Kennedy expresses his personal connection to the issue, having lost family members to gun violence. He states that he does not believe in taking people's guns away and suggests that the focus should be on reducing division and hatred among Americans.
Regarding China's negotiations with Havana about setting up a joint military training facility in Cuba, Kennedy proposes a strategy of de-escalation and focusing on economic competition rather than military tensions.
In response to a question about his family's disagreement with his views on vaccines, Kennedy states that he respects their opinions but stands by his beliefs. He also addresses a question about his agreement to speak before a right-wing group, stating that he was unaware of their positions when he accepted the invitation and withdrew when he learned of them.
In his closing remarks, Kennedy emphasizes the importance of truth-telling in government as a means of healing the division in the country. He promises to be rigorous in telling the truth to the American people and to make government agencies do the same.
Here are the 20 most impactful bullet points:
Kennedy believes the Democratic party has lost its way and needs to return to its traditional values.
He criticizes the U.S.'s involvement in Ukraine, arguing that it has turned the nation into a proxy war between Russia and the U.S.
Kennedy believes the U.S. needs to stop spending money on things it can't afford, such as wars and debt servicing.
