Brilliant resource. Thank you. I am working my way through Turtles, Illusions and so much more on the subject. Your article is a great - pun intended - shot in the arm.

I recently listened to (yet another!) Andrew Wakefield interview. The man is inspiring, arguably a medical freedom fighter of the modern era way ahead of his time. I was reminded that all he ever recommended was to take 3 separate jabs, not one combined MMR jab, yet the furore that ensued has shaped so much in the world and speaks volumes to what really lurks behind the curtain. He now categorically advises everyone to never take any vaccine.

Thanks for the podcast link.

Yes, his initial position wasn't anti vaccines, but simply unbundling and delaying. I was never sure whether that was simply a political strategy to try to save some kids or if he genuinely believed it.

You will enjoy "Hear the Silence" docudrama about Andy, if you haven't seen it already. Very good!

Wow. Great work, fabulous multiple finds. The explanation for the vaxxes causing auto-immune disorders is wonderful.

"Safe and effective."

"One adverse event in a million, and they're always minor."

I will never darken a doctor's doors again if I can by any means avoid it. I will never take a vaccination of any kind, ever again, nor any other prescription medication. But it's too late. At 64, the damage is done.

Jaw-dropping. This information wasn't generally available 20-30 years ago when our kids were young. All we had to go on was vague newspaper reports about aborted foetal tissue in vaccines. We were uninformed and thus prey to the lies and coercion of the medical industry. I hope it helps young parents today in their decision-making. The Big Reveal continues.

I had my kids from 87-91, just as the vaccine schedule was exploding. After the first born exhibited “high pitched screaming” I started looking into the vaccines and found “DPT: A Shot in the Dark”, published 1986. I had started attending La Leche League (LLL) meetings and the other moms were often a great resource for “non main stream” information to support children’s health. When a little “freedom” support group formed in 2021 to provide gatherings for those of us without “vaccine passports” (we were barred from restaurants, theatres, planes, trains, etc. in Canada) I was intrigued to discover that a large proportion of the women were past LLL leaders. Something about that belief in trusting natural health for our babies grounded in breastfeeding lead us to question the health narrative during C-19. With the birth of a first grandchild earlier this year, I was motivated to do a deep dive back into childhood shots to learn the current info. “Turtles all the way Down” was perfect and I shared the book with the parents. They rejected both shots to mom and all shots to baby. He’s beautifully healthy. I’ve been watching my niece’s children suffer from febrile seizures and chronic eczema. So tragic.

What an amazing and inspiring testimony. I don’t think the Plotkins of this world are evil, they’re just caught in an inhuman system where the goals become progressively more and more removed from nature and truth and humanity. In the end, mothers and babies just become collateral in the drive for profits. Only the natural instinct of mothers to ensure the best care for their children will save us all. I am truly sorry to hear about your niece’s children.

How courageous and enlightened you were with your first child. Few parents see the link between vaccination and altered health. I had my children in the early 80’s, not so dissimilar, and rejected vaccination for various reasons. I came to notice that once they started to attend nursery school, I was amazed at how unhealthy children en masse were. Always coughs and colds, dark rings under the eyes, eczema and asthma, not exactly ill but definitely not my idea of health. This is not to say that my children had no illness, of course they did, the ubiquitous autumn-winter illness’, chicken pox and mumps. They bounced back from everything quickly and their energy returned almost immediately, there was no low grade ill health. Might I suggest also reading from the same author, Harris L Coulter. Vaccination Social Violence and Criminality, the medical assault on the American brain.

Thank you so much for presenting this excellent work. Hopefully one day it will be acknowledged that all vaccinations are Interfering indiscriminately with a individual, complex human body with injections with various harmful substances.

Autism aside, who is to know how much damage has been inflicted on us by vaccines in general? Some are known (eg HPV) but some we don't even have ways to assess. The whole "health industry" is corrupted and captured starting with WHO. I appreciate your stand and dedication, I have learnt a lot in the last three years.

I like that you linked to the Canadian government’s website for ‘Mali formation’...😂 our new health minister just stated publicly that the shots have saved the lives of 800,000 Canadians! Miraculous!

Those must be the 800,000 Canadians who had the sense not to take the shot... 🤔

I admit to feeling a fool for not paying attention until it was thrown in my face.

For me, the 8 hours was better than any movie or tv show. Siri even followed it up with an equally as good sequel via Kathryn Edwards.

Plotkin is an atheist. I presume because he doesn't want to take things on faith, needs to have the data. I can respect and empathize with that.

When asked about vaccine data and studies, many times he refers to 'the book'. "It's in the book". And of course there was no such data in 'the book'. In my mind I kept envisioning a preacher, and the irony of it all.

Fantastic article, thank you.

I would be very careful with the link between fossil fuels and global warming, that's a separate beast.

Expand full comment

There isn't one. "Global Warming" is as bogus as "Peak Oil" and the Covid Fraudemic. They've kept that lie going for the last 35 years at least. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It's_a_Matter_of_Survival)

Expand full comment

Global warming might be bogus, but environmental degradation is not. Local climate change because of deforestation is very real, as one example of many.

Like all fear mongering it seems, it starts with a real issue which then is exaggerated and manipulated. The original issue is still there.

Oh, no argument from me on that point: Species loss, pollution, the threat from microplastics.. What's being said about any of that, more to the point, what's being done? Zip, nada, zilch. Any idea how many printers I've gone through in the last 20 years because they're designed to break down and be impossible to fix? Me neither. The way they deliberately force waste on you is truly fantastic.

Expand full comment

Yes, hardly any discussion around real environmental issues.

I see two forces at play here. Society is optimised around maintaining control, in some way that does make sense because any system has to maintain it's integrity, it wants to survive, but at the same time it pretends to focus on solving big problems. Those problems are never solved, that's just a pretense, fears and strong emotions around the problems are used to maintain control. As society gets into a deep crisis, control is becoming obsessive, everything is about emergency powers.

The other force is that we are all overwhelmed and we all demand simple answers. Climate is complex, much better to obsess only over CO2 levels. No one understand the economy, let's obsess over inflation rate. How do you quantify education? Just look at GPA. Reductionism FTW.

This combination of reductionism with a control system in crisis is nasty.

On the issue of Hepatitis B the disease it's interesting to note that in the US Hep B did not exist as a disease, certainly nowhere to be seen in the public, medical or media landscape, UNTIL the "discoveries" leading into the creation of the HepB vaccine came about.

It wasn't as if there was this marauding disease attacking people and the scientific/medical community turned their attentions and resources towards "finding a cure."

It was the exact opposite. They came up with their "vaccine solution" (product) and then created the disease, or at least made it an issue of public concern, through a mass media blitz and mass marketing campaign.

Public perception of hepatitis B was radically altered through media messaging and deliberately provocative descriptions of the disease BY public health officials immediately FOLLOWING the vaccine’s licensure and introduction.

Before the hepatitis B vaccine was introduced Americans had no reason to view the disease as a direct threat to their health.

The representation of hepatitis B as a public health threat was deliberately constructed by the pharmaceutical and medical industry in order to sell their product.

Even so uptake of the HepB vaccine was initally quite low and remained that way for many years. At first there was hesitance as the original HepB vaccine, Heptavax B, licensed in 1981, was unlike previous vaccines in that it contained inactivated virus collected from the plasma of HBV-infected donors rather than live, weakened virus or killed, denatured virus.

The clinical trials that tested the vaccine in the 1970s included only gay men who had been identified as being at high risk of the infection. The FDA’s approval of the plasma-derived vaccine coincided with reports of a deadly new disease among gay men- AIDS. The appearance of the AIDS crisis (also manufactured) spurred fears that the new vaccine could be contaminated with AIDS. It was noted that gay men and injection drug users were frequent blood donors for the vaccine.

This presented a serious PR problem for the plasma derived vaccine hence the low uptake. The blood derived HepB vaccine was withdrawn from the market in 1986 and replaced by a new type of vaccine- the recombinant vaccine.

Even so uptake for the new recombinant HepB vaccine remained low as they were having difficutly getting the "at-risk" groups to take the shot and the majority of the public saw no need as they were not in that "at-risk" group- this even with the mass media fear mongering.

So the solution? Force it on a captive market- children- starting with newborns.

In 1990, the CDC recommended that a comprehensive strategy be developed to give hepatitis B vaccine to every child - “before they engage in behaviors or occupations that place them at risk of infection."

In 1991, the CDC began recommending that all infants get the HepB vaccine, stipulating that they receive three doses within the first six months of life, starting at birth.

In 1992 the World Health Organization (WHO) would follow suit recommending that “all infants should receive their first dose of hepatitis B vaccine as soon as possible after birth, preferably within 24 hours”, even in countries where Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is of low endemicity.”

The rest as they say is history.

In 1982 a HepB vaccination campaign targeting only a small “at-risk” population ballooned into a more aggressive set of policies that would result in universal vaccination for all newborns by 1991 to the point that by 2000, 47 states had mandated the HepB vaccine for all schoolchildren.

A guaranteed market.

"I think Handley’s book is the best, most effective, and most under-rated book on the question of childhood vaccination." -- I agree. "Turtles All the Way Down" is a good book, But, I agree that JB. Handley's book is one of the best I've seen for a concise discussion of vaccine safety (albeit focused on autism).
