Wow thanks for all your research this was such an interesting read! Made sure I took Vitamin C tonight! I’ve also seen holistic health practitioners share the importance of vitamin C in pregnancy and to help with labour and recovery.

What brand do you suggest that gives liposmal and ascorbic? Thank you kindly.

At the moment I use the Eden Healthfoods organic wild C. Not sure about lipsomal sorry. Depending on where you live you may need to get it through a naturopath or natural practitioner.

I aim to have wholefood versions of vitamins as much as possible and this vitamin C is acerola berries. Camu camu is also a really great form of natural vitamin C.

It's the Church of Medical Mysticism; the Vaccine Cult (more recently known as the Covidian Cult) is just one form of how the religion is practiced.

If you read enough, it is abundantly clear that allopathic medicine is built upon multiple flawed paradigms, and that most of what they believe is dogmatic. In general, the things they are good at have come from the battlefields of history. Trauma and how to keep people from dying on the battlefield. They generally suck at prevention or restoring health. They are the wrong people to see about any chronic disease or acute infection.

And don't get me going on specialists. My cardiologist couldn't figure out what was causing my severe ventricular arrhythmia (which often will lead to sudden cardiac arrest [ first symptom - death]), but any decent chiropractor could have figured it out in less than five minutes. Heart docs don't look beyond the heart, and my arrhythmia was being caused by a left hand curve in my upper thoracic spine (caused by a cycling accident), which caused constant irritation of the sympathetic nerve to my heart. Once my spine was straightened out, the arrhythmia stopped. But the FDA won't let any chiropractor say that I was "cured."

Dr. Levy is one of the rock stars of healing (and a rock star cardiologist). I took his advice of nebulizing with hydrogen peroxide to ward off a respiratory infection (COVID). The side benefit was that it cleared up my chronically congested sinuses that I had had for fifty years. And they've stayed clear. 50 years of MDs with no clue what to do, but he fixed it by accident. With cheap food grade hydrogen peroxide.

Bowel tolerance is the problem with a layperson using Vitamin C to deal with an acute problem. Most people who take over 2 grams of C will be chained to the toilet for a while, some can barely tolerate 1 gram. But there are plenty of naturopathic and function med docs who offer C infusions. And my dentist actually does C infusions prior to any traumatic procedures. Fewer complications and faster healing. My wife did C infusions prior to her hip surgery and was the first of her ortho's patients off of pain meds and had the best and fastest healing. Great stuff!

Magnesium is HUGE, but there are issues with both absorption and bowel tolerance. The guy you want to read is Dr. Mark Sircus, who discusses transdermal magnesium therapy, which gets around the gut issues. It can get your magnesium levels up quicker than anything short of IV or a vacation by the Dead Sea. Anyone you know who has had a heart attack should find a way to get 8-10 mg by IV. Their chances of being alive five years from now will improve greatly.

Sircus will also expose you briefly to Dr. Emmanuel Revici, who in the early sixties was curing people of cancer with simple, non-toxic and inexpensive substances.

Sircus, like Ray Peat and others, advocates for improving alkalinity over acidity. And he offers a lot of ways to do that. Sodium bicarbonate. Ever watch an old movie with a scene in a soda fountain.? Guys are always asking for a "bicarb" of one sort or another. People knew this stuff was good for you 100 years ago, but 100 years of pharma propaganda has changed all that.

One quote from Sircus that has stuck with me is that "acidity runs hot and fast, alkalinity runs cool and slow." Rapid heart beat? Slow it down with alkalinity (magnesium bicarbonate is a great choice). Inflammation at the site of a wound? Try sodium bicarbonate or chlorine dioxide solution to help it heal faster.

The guy who I credit with fixing my heart problems (by a video he posted on YouTube) is Dr. John Bergman of Long Beach, CA. Five years ago he was talking about our being on the cusp of a healthcare revolution. So what did we get? An all-out assault with a bio-weapon, courtesy of the military-industrial-pharma complex. The insurrection had to be quelled to protect the elite.

Read World Without Cancer by G. Edward Griffin. It was first published in the early 1970s and updated in multiple revisions through around 2000 or so. The second half deals with I.G. Farben's chemical cartel and the later alliance with the Rockefeller Foundation. If you want to understand how the world works and who is pulling the strings, it's a good place to start.

After a further reading, I found out that vitamin C is not vitamin C, it would be too easy:

https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/medicine-and-dentistry/ascorbic-acid

or

https://www.skinceuticals.com.au/a-guide-to-the-different-types-of-vitamin-c-for-skin.html

Different molecular structures may have different effects on the body. Organic chemistry, you can't help it.

Just a side note, maybe readers will research more.

Now to the most important stuff:

Unbekoming, thank you for great inspiring articles all the year round. Have a wonderful 2024, make it the best of your years so far, and a good foundation for the future.

I suspect that if I went to my NP and asked for IV C she would laugh at me and ask "why". So, if I wanted some, how would I go about getting some?

I already know and understand the benefits of high dose vitamin C. What I’d like to know and no one seems willing to say, is where to buy the good quality high dose from. Where can I get it? Is oral ascorbic acid powder sufficient? Very few of us have access to any doctors who are supportive of, or willing to use, IV vitamin C. So how do we self treat?

> Is oral ascorbic acid powder sufficient? Very few of us have access to any doctors who are supportive of, or willing to use, IV vitamin C. So how do we self treat?

i take about 2 grams of vitamin C orally (dissolved in water) every day. start with 1 gram/day and over time, the body gets used to it, so increase your dose over time. if you take too much, you get diarrhea. just aim for a "near diarrhea" dose. aka "vitamin C bowel tolerance".

amino acids (Tyrosine, PhenylAlanine, GABA, Theanine, Tryptophan, Glutamine) have recommended oral doses of up to 5 grams per day (source: Julia Ross, Kenneth Blum, Charles Gant, ...), so i guess the "safe" oral dose for vitamin C is in the 1...5 grams/day range. but obviously, the body needs more if its fighting some disease. (just like goats produce more vitamin C when they are sick.)

i think that injections are absolutely disgusting. inserting a metal pipe into your flesh pipe, ugh. also, being dependent on syringe manufacturers does not make it better. so i prefer "oral megadosing". before using syringes, i would try vitamin C footbaths, because the foot skin allows some diffusion into the bloodstream.

but it may be that intravenous vitamin C is required to fight diseases in later stages, for example when a cancer tumor has become too large.

https://beyondhealth.com/blog/taking-vitamin-c-to-bowel-tolerance/

> vitamin C experts have recommended up to 6,000 mg (6 grams) as a MINIMUM daily intake, with MANY TIMES that amount under a variety of conditions including stress, illness, and wound-healing.

http://orthomolecular.org/resources/omns/v18n14.shtml

> it is not widely appreciated that optimal human metabolism requires the assimilation of new multigram (macronutrient) quantities of vitamin C on a daily basis, not just 50 to 100 milligram (micronutrient) quantities. Ironically, much of the reason for this misconception comes from vitamin C (ascorbic acid) being regarded solely as a "vitamin" in the first place, when it should be primarily regarded as the singularly most important nutrient in the body.

> A great deal of the literature will routinely refer to the dosing of a few grams of vitamin C intravenously, or even orally, as a megadose. Such a dosing of vitamin C still falls far short of what the body needs to thrive, especially when faced with an acute oxidative challenge. Giving a sick patient 25 to 100 grams of vitamin C intravenously for an advanced infection, a life-threatening toxin exposure, or an advanced medical condition such as metastatic cancer is much more physiological in amount rather than excessive or extraordinary. Such physiological dosing vastly exceeds what the literature continues to mislabel as a mega-dose, even though that mega-dose vastly exceeds the 50 mg to 250 mg doses utilized in many "failed" clinical studies on the clinical benefits of vitamin C. Although largely ignored, the clinical success of this physiological dosing has been repeatedly established in the medical literature.

I got sick in April 2020... Fever, chest pain (in ribs/muscles) and severe fatigue. I took 1000mg hourly and was better in a few days. No bowel issues at all 😅 Of course we know why these “remedies” are suppressed or dismissed. Thank you for putting together such a clear overview!

I learned from Earl Mendell's Vitamin Bible. Add in D3 @ 1,000 UI.

My formula for OP is 1,000 mg non-rock form Calcium, 2,000 UI D3, and 600 mg Magnesium Citrate, oxide is not well absorbed. 600 mg of Strontium Citrate, which doctors ignore. And you can't go wrong adding in Zinc, or Selenium instead of Melatonin.

Used the Covid formula with Quinine Bark, No jabs, No Covid.

Zinc, a nutrient found throughout your body, helps your immune system and metabolism function. Zinc is also important to wound healing and your sense of taste and smell. Zinc is a trace mineral, meaning that the body only needs small amounts, and yet it is necessary for almost 100 enzymes to carry out vital chemical reactions. It is a major player in the creation of DNA, the growth of cells, building proteins, healing damaged tissue, and supporting a healthy immune system. [1] Because it helps cells to grow and multiply, adequate zinc is required during times of rapid growth, such as childhood, adolescence, and pregnancy. Zinc is also involved with the senses of taste and smell.

Everyone I know who took the jabs got Covid. Most get the Flu too.

Unlike those who took the jabs and still get Covid. Fully Vaccinated 82-Year-Old Bernie Sanders Tests Positive for COVID-19

You mean his next shot of Saline?

Fully vaccinated Bernie Sanders, the Democrat Senator from Vermont, has tested positive for COVID-19.

Senator Sanders, who has been a vocal advocate for strict adherence to CDC guidelines since the beginning of the pandemic, received his vaccination earlier on under the guidance of the Office of the Attending Physician.

Sanders publicly received his first dose of the vaccine on December 19, 2020, from the U.S. Capitol physician, Dr. Brian P. Monahan. He announced this on his website and social media.

“Following the advice of the Office of the Attending Physician, today I received the safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine. As the vaccine is being distributed, we must all continue wearing masks and engage in social distancing. That is how we will beat this virus and end this terrible pandemic,” Sanders announced.

Yes. That. He’s a fraud like the rest of the Uniparty. I used to hear him on progressive radio when I WAS @ liberal Dem. Bloviating the same “we must do” this or that while he basically did nothing. I eventually turned him off--even while still a democrat. I believe he hid as an independent so he could bloviate and make money without having to work very hard. Does he still have 5 homes, I read?

Expand full comment

He has three. For many years he had only his very modest home in Burlington Vermont. He took the train back and forth to DC. After the success of his 2016 book, he bought a small condo in DC so he wouldn't have to spend so much time commuting. Then his wife's parents died and left her a house, which she sold. With that money she bought some property in northern Vermont with several rustic cabins on it, intended for the use of children and grandchildren. He still is one of the poorest senators. I agree he is a fraud, but let's not spin falsehoods.

I hardly think about him these days. He’s just a plod in the uniparty.

Thanks!

I started my health journey pretty much 20 years ago to the day. I had a melanoma that gave me a 50% chance of being alive after 5 years, and the odds weren't supposed to improve after that. Yet here I am, 20 years later, after having ignored ALL of my dermatologist's advice.

So I can recommend lots of other authors worth reading, even some back to the 1920s.

The one worth reading about the electrical nature of the body is Jerry Tennant and his Healing is Voltage books. He's quirky and his books could use a good editor, but still worth reading, especially if you can find copies at your local library. He was a top echelon opthamalogist when he contracted a virus while operating on a patient. He saw endless top-of-their-field allopathic specialists, and nobody could figure out what was going on or how to heal him. He eventually figured it all out for himself.

John Bergman's another outstanding healing doc whose healing journey got him to where he is today. He's posted a ton of videos on a wide array of health topics on YouTube. You need to watch some of his pre-COVID stuff. Very irreverent of allopaths. During COVID, I think he was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, as he fully understood the insanity from day one. Some of those videos are almost painful to watch.

Thanks for a timely reminder, it's been way too long since I last put magnesium oil on my body. It's home made, dirt cheap. Just mix magnesium flakes with water.

Expand full comment

This is helpful. I take quite a bit of magnesium -- it helps with managing a certain birth defect in my colon if I get the dose right (it's tricky) -- and that does not pair well with also taking oral vitamin C. Time to try the liposomal form. I seem to remember from somewhere that it can somehow be whipped up at home.

Expand full comment

what type of magnesium do you use?

Expand full comment

After quite a bit of experimenting, 150 mg magnesium citrate capsules. That gives me good dose control, 300 or 450 mg per day. 300 when things are working and 450, briefly, when they quit. This has more to do with the colon deformity than anything else, but it also gives me my magnesium. I got the dosing idea from an MD a few counties west of here that was also a blogger, etc., and it did the trick.

If I add in oral ascorbic acid, however, that's another set of issues.

The capsule size is also important -- too big and I choke on them.

Thank you so much for this. I had literally no knowledge of the subject. I shall try as much of a dose of liposodal vit C as I can afford to see what effect it has on Fibromyalgia.

Vit C in the form or sodium ascorbate or strait ascorbic acid in powder, 1/4 tsp per hour (1,000 mg) in some water and shot it down, will relieve urinary tract infections, body aches, low energy, colds, flu.... much more for me. It's a lifesaver, take it instead of calling your Dr for antibiotics. IV Vit C can be obtained by the more savy naturalpath and anti-aging Dr's, normally you will need to have consult before it can be preformed. I purchase it at the local health supplement store or order it in bulk via bulk supplements.
