I appreciate your article on Homeopathy. It is noteworthy that before the War of Northern Aggression, there were more homeopathic colleges in the USA than allopathic schools. The AMA virtually destroyed alternate medicine in the USA. Treating symptoms forever with poison is not as good as curing a problem. NativeRemedies.com sells a homeopathic product called Mucus Stop that has cured me of my lifelong allergies to nearly every kind of grass, trees, mold, and those nasty cockroach turds that come with mail-order purchases.

When I went to Switzerland seven years ago, I was pleased to see the pharmacies were not stocked with allopathic medicines, but with herbs and homeopathic medicine.

As always in the 21st Century, Amerika lags behind the rest of the developed world.

Anyone who thinks that inserting a hyphen between the two syllables of the word "disease" conveys some sort of profound meaning can be dismissed out of hand. Sorry.

one of the problems is the fact that there are SO many charlatans in these fields, which is why so many people are very skeptical. and yes, there are loads of charlatans with MDs!

Fascinating. I remember seeing some mainstream person "show" how homeopathy didn't work from the results of controlled experiments but my feeling was that it probably does work and my attitude has always been to have an open mind. It's good to have a better of idea of how it works.

Homeopathy rarely works in controlled experiments, it's a truly individualised medicine that treats mind/body/soul. Controlled experiments are reductionist, only looking at physical effects.

You are more than the sum of your physical parts.

Also, now I know how fraudulent science it's hard to believe anything from ScienceTM anymore. I've always tended to feel we are own laboratories and I'm willing to try most things if there's any suggestion that they might be helpful and I can be reasonably confident there's no risk with them. I've taken vaccines as an adult because I didn't think there was a risk and that there was also potential benefit. Completely disabused of that idea now and will never take another alleged "vaccine".
