Hello Unbekoming. As an unpaid subscriber, I don't have the right to ask you for anything, but here goes: I would like to be able to download mp3 versions of your interviews. For now I have to play them on a computer and record them with Audacity. So there is a way, but I'm asking for more convenience. My reading time is somewhat limited, and there is a lot to read. By contrast, one can often multitask while listening, and your interviews often command my listening attention.
I use an mp3 player that does not have wireless in it. I have a mobile phone, but I keep it some distance from myself except when using it, which is not that often.
Some substacks have an mp3 download feature. I'm not sure whether you could use it. Here's an example. Click the three dots on the right side of the player:
The posts you are referring to that offer the "three dots" to download are setup as "podcast" posts, which lays out everything very differently to a text post, which is what I use. Unfortunately here isn't a work around.
and this came with lovely synchronistic timing with my current essay that is looking into the total insanity and superstitious nature of so-called scientism(tm) including allopathic health science. gracias.
and i have a question. you mention stopping white (processed refined) sugar as part of your protocol. why/how did you come to that protocol and how important was it. you mentioned it here, and so i assume it was very important.
note: i'm asking in part because i have an unhealthy vegan who is adamant that white sugar is a medicine that has cured thousands of people from type 2 diabetes and gets triggered every time i mention sugar as an fuel for cancer cells.
shortly after my first encounter with that knowledge, i came to be talking to a woman i didn't know at the start of a 3 day silence retreat. i told her about what i'd learned about sugar, and she said 'that's interesting. i work in a cancer screening clinic and we feed the people we are to screen a very highly concentrated glucose before the screening because it helps us see the cancers cells more easily because they get more active.' it turns out she was one of the doctors there, i learned later.
i trust my synchronicities and my friend trusts authorities.
Hi, Guy (I'm assuming that's your name ). When I was fighting cancer, I looked up everything from what can trigger cancer and what feeds cancer and everything in between, and sugar was at the top of that list. The doctor you mentioned is correct. They use sugar in their testing because cancer gets very active and grows with sugar. It's how they can tell the difference between benign and malignant tumors. Everything we eat breaks down into sugar for energy, but it differs from sugar, which never goes bad for a reason. Even some fast food burgers never go bad after being out for years. So, in my opinion, it is critical to avoid sugar. (not berries as that is low in glycemic and have antioxidants) if I want to help cancer grow, then I would eat all the sugar I can. If I want to live and allow my body to destroy cancer cells, then I would avoid sugar at all costs.
i've been on a spiritual integration journey since 2014 that kicked me in the ass in 2021 when i refused the mandated jab and became a covid refugee from canada. now in oaxaca mexico. (that is my subsack: beoming a refugee in the time of covid.)
in recent writing i describe my experience with diet and gout that culminated in a meditation in which i asked ganesha for help and with that helped meet a manifestation of gout. and since then, gout has been a non-issue and not present for several years now. diet as medicine and as expression of our respect (or lack) of our body as soul. fascinating journey.
re your research: it concurs with mine as well. did you come across the fascinating book 'the case against sugar' by gary taube? in it he tracks the growth of diabetes around the world with sugar consumption. what is interesting is that my vegan friend listening to his vegan dr-god thinks eating white sugar is not a problem. instead, he links diabetes with high fat diets not sugar. and he makes the astonishing-to-me claim that white sugar is a medicine. my vegan friend won't talk to me about diet until i've read all the research his dr-god has done. yet... my intuitive feeling which has been guiding me well for 8 years now, suggests that the dr-god is lying. and yet, after 8 years of his diet, he is still in serious ill-health and i am in excellent health. hmmmm.
again, thank you. your journey is confirming and inspirational. thank you for sharing it.
My pleasure and thank you for sharing your story. Very inspiring. You placed the light on the truth. Your friend believes this white sugar is great for you because their doctor friend told them it was good for them yet they are ill. You eat well and avoid sugar and you are thriving. That says it all :)
i think he is in a pretty strong state of cognitive dissonance all the time since meeting me, especially when we eat together in a restaurant and is horrified by what i eat. and that dissonance is, of course, contributing to the stress that is working against his healing intention.
all the best with what is changing, with peace, respect, love and gratitude.
Good interview although I have to say she self admitted she ate a bad, sugar laden "SAD" diet but then totally swore off meat. There are good clean sources and I just wish people would differentiate between good sources and bad sources and not take an entire group off the list.
Hi yes I ate poorly with my sugar habits but I chose not to eat any animal products when fighting cancer as meat has a high pH making the body’s pH low. Vegetables pH is lower raising the pH in the body up which is needed to help reduce inflammation in the body sincr cancer is an inflammatory disease. It also stays in the intestines longer. Afterwards by choice I decided I no longer had the desire to eat any animals. For those who want to eat animals I say make sure you get it from a farmer you trust and who won’t inject their animals. It is a choice when it comes to choosing to eat animal meat or the meat of fruits and vegetables or both. I just personally love eating foods grown from earth.
Yes, to each his own but people tend to clump fast food meat in with grass fed (knowing your farmer) meats and a lot of people don't understand there is a difference. That was my point.
While antibiotics are generally acknowledged as a life-saver in illnesses like pneumonia it's becoming more widely understood how critical our gut fauna is to many aspects of our heath and wellbeing, and so overusing (or even once) antibiotics has severe consequences.
Thank you so much for this informative, important, and most likely life saving interview! 💕🙏
Great interview! There is always hope after diagnosis.

Hi rg, unfortunately substack doesn't permit the download of the audio file.
Just out of curiosity, why do you need an mp3 file.
You can listen to it via the subtask iphone App (built in reader) or the audio files I provide. Do neither of those options work for you?
I use an mp3 player that does not have wireless in it. I have a mobile phone, but I keep it some distance from myself except when using it, which is not that often.

I see, I understand what you mean now.

I see. Thanks for the info. And thanks for your work here.
Wow, this one's a keeper!
Thank you 🙏
thank you unbekoming and lourdes and chris.

I'm with you on that. One day hopefully soon they will notice it looks and taste different.
"I did my own research to learn what would naturally assist with my pneumonia and took care of it myself." would nice to hear more about this...

That's why I raise the question above!
