One of the 1st things I learned in Medical Assisting school was to never allow a patient to leave without a follow-up appointment. That was the beginning of my discovery. I remember all the personal care we gave to patients that no longer existed when I landed in the hospital. I couldn't believe there was no hygiene, no baths, no toothbrushes, all the foods given to me that I had eliminated like margarine, pudding, no salt allowed, mystery meat.
When I finally changed clothes, like Superman in the phone booth, and went to a homeopath, dropping all allopaths, he kept notes. A visit would require him to walk in with a loose-leaf binder file 2" thick. Nothing on the computer, ever. That's called confidentiality. The importance of that cannot be overstated. That's why I purchase in cash. If more people understood that we would not be facing the financial crisis coming down the road. Swiping cell phones to pay in lieu of cash is going to bring in the doomsday scenario...............Slavery.

Thank you! Amen !
well, it is not too hard to breeze right by the appointment desk without making one. That is what i do. if i ever go, which is rare.
That is EXACTLY what I do. Then they call me months later and I tell them I am fine, see no need for another check-up, thank them, and hang up.
they are flat out harassing me with phone calls, i get 5 a day. had to unplug my land line unless i want to call out.
