Number 12 fascinates me. (quoted below)

I know a number of elderly women who had hysterectomies earlier in life. These individuals are callous people at their best, and full-out sociopathic at their worst.

Society is experiencing a "loss of empathy" on an epic scale.

Makes me wonder if the loss of hormones (that contribute to nurturing, etc.) is part of that?!

"12. In your opinion, what are the long-term implications of hysterectomy and oophorectomy that women might not be fully aware of when they consent to surgery?

They are not told that their lives will be shorter, that they will suffer more from osteoporosis, that they may never have restorative sleep again, that they will suffer the loss of muscle mass from the lost testosterone, that they will be anxious, enraged, panicky and perhaps diagnosed with a mental illness, that they will be offered a long list of pharmaceuticals for symptom relief which will fail them, that their bodies will suffer with pain and the list goes on."

This sums it up:

I wrote a book about this subject, Hormone Secrets. The free download is here or you can buy a hard copy on Amazon. https://dl.bookfunnel.com/p7dvqow83g

Homeopathy has been treating these issues for over 100 years. The typical female remedies for young women is Pulsatilla, and for women who have had children the remedy is Sepia. DesBio has homeopathic progesterone made from the "Bio-Identical" version, which is just a marketing term for synthetic. I would rather take remedies based on their similimum from natural sources. Professional Formulas has combination remedies based on more traditional homeopathic principles, and years of experience on combinations and potencies that work. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9343926/

Interesting reading, thank you. I imagine I'm not alone to have been largely ignorant of such a large list of potentially debilitating post surgery side effects.

I'm wondering if there are specific correlations with regard to shortened lifespan and what they may be?

Thank you for both articles. There is so much here, I wish someone had mentioned it to me when I was young. 🌷

Does anybody consider this when you neuter your pet for convenience?

What is a full night's sleep, I mean the deep restful kind that refreshes the body—1 of the Club. Fibromyalgia was the first, OA, OP, and HORRID PILLS just made it worse. Oxycontin gave that, then it was blamed for the OD's. And it's side effect was bowel shutdown. Never misused, or took more than 5 mg, never got addicted. Valium 10 mg twice a day does not do much more than control Vertigo and pain seizures. You will live on it forever. It's just a class 5, low on the totem pole. Yet most primaries won't script it, and some pharmacies won't fill it. Neurologist visits every 6 months, for a 30-day supply, and 6 total filled scripts. Requires registering. Dr. Jeffery Singer.
