This is probably Dr. Sircus' best book. Getting my magnesium levels up REALLY helped calm down my heart rhythm, and transdermal application was key to doing that fairly quickly. EVERYBODY needs more Mg, but good luck convincing the average person of that fact. If their doc thinks the Mg level is good, then GOD has spoken.

Dr. Sircus was yet another person who recently very nearly died from heart disease, so his mantra of alkalizing the body (other than through diet) seems a bit flawed. But I suspect he's learning a lot in his current healing journey. Anyone with heart/circulation problems or seeking to avoid his near fatal brush with death would find a lot of interest in his recent posts.

He's definitely one of the guys wearing a white hat.

And I agree with Henry Lahore - if you are doing a magnesium chloride bath, consider applying DMSO afterward, in order to get better absorption.

One word of caution if you apply magnesium oil to your skin - you may end up peeling like a snake! That's a good thing, as those are all cells with poor circulation and they need to be sloughed off. Such a sign on your legs indicates a developing circulation problem. Thus far, the suggestions I've heard most often for correcting leg circulation include nattokinase, aged garlic and DMSO, in that order. Though I'd likely do DMSO with either of the other two, as for me it seems the combination was more effective than any of these things by themselves. All three will also help general circulation as well.

My magnesium oil bottle warned that it might cause dry skin and recommended using moisturizer afterward, so I put both on the soles of my feet and wear socks (it also warned of staining sheets) and find my sleep is much improved.

Some of the many things learned about Magnesium since Dr. Sircus's 2011 book

You can consume more than 400 mg of Mg daily - for example, 3 servings of 400 mg each.

Magnesium Chloride bath provides a much better transdermal form than Epson's salts.

Adding DMSO to Magnesium gets it through the skin more easily.

I’m a healthy 64 year old woman, I walk two to three miles most days...110 lbs and about 5’3”...no meds.

A few years back a physical indicated I was “pre-hypertensive” in spite of no apparent risk factors. The doc couldn’t answer my “Why?” but resorted to the excuse that I couldn’t outrun my genes. I studied up, found magnesium may help and started supplementing. It took some time, I think because I needed to build up my reserves. Perhaps if I’d used transdermal back then or even taken more it would have been quicker, I don’t know.

The bottom line is that my BP is back to 110/70 which has been normal for my whole life. It’s infuriating that doctors don’t know these basics.

MD stands for Medieval Doctor, so don't be too hard on them. Personally, I wish it was legal to be treated by a veterinarian. They're trained to get to the root of the problem quickly vs. the endless diagnostics, extra appointments, specialist referrals and other nonsense from MDs. The only thing I'd worry about seeing a veterinarian would be if he/she insisted that I get a rabies shot... ;-)

Magnesium oil is available in a spray bottle on Amazon. I’ve been using it on my feet, followed by hand cream and socks, and I’ve been sleeping like a baby for the first time in years.

I have chronic dupuytrens contracture, both little fingers severely bent. Have had needle procedure several times and one xiaflex injection but it recurs. Considering reconstructive surgery but am concerned about side effects and recurrence.

What do you think about magnesium chloride oil and DMSO?

I had the same condition on my ring finger right hand. Stayed bent impeding my ability to life a coffee pot. Had to use both hands to fill my coffee cup. That translated into a very weak right hand, gripping anything, unscrewing a cap off a bottle became impossible. I ordered DMSO for my knees, never giving my hand a second thought.

Since I'm right handed I applied DMSO with that hand to my knees. After 3 applications of DMSO (I did not wash my hands afterwards as suggested) my finger suddenly returned to normal. I didn't notice it because I had accustomed myself to my condition but I got up one day and poured myself a cup of coffee and said, "holy shit" my hand works like before.

If my failing memory is correct, A Midwestern Doctor in one of his several DMSO substacks stated that DMSO alone has successfully treated Dupuytren's. If safe, cheap and effective. If you don't want the sulfur/garlic smell, try Nature's Gift rose scented 70% DMSO/30% aloe vera. You'd want to understand the few caveats of using DMSO, which are covered in AMD's posts.
