Superb article! I must confess I have a bad case of Stickitothemaniosis, like a fire raging from the depths of my soul. Fck Bob Carr and his hospitals. If I'm going to die I'll die at home with my dignity intact.

Thanks Teresa. Fck Bob Carr indeed. Too many of them want to get in and feed from the "Global" trough. I guess the more hardline they are in their public comments the more likely they are to get a "gig". Just look at Tony Blair.

Regarding making new decisions based on new information... a whole lot of people will not want to do that if they have been outspoken in a partisan position. Nobody likes admitting he was wrong. Especially within families, all those normal, garden-variety dysfunctional interpersonal dynamics that were in play before Covid are still in play... and that's just among the adults. Sibling rivalry and so forth.

I cannot imagine how horrible things may be in families where the mother has told her small children for two long years that good people wear masks because otherwise, they are bad people who might kill grandma. And all the doctors and coaches and teachers and pastors and mayors and police in that child's life have said the same thing: we wear masks because masks work.

There but for the grace of God go I. My kids are grown.

I think the time for adults to gracefully exit the masking of children was in Summer of 2021... and they did not do it. The adults doubled down. The adults have lied en masse to children about masks for two long years. This is going to be way uglier than admitting Santa Claus doesn't bring presents. Or it should be ugly. And that's not even touching the lies around Covid vaccines.

Thank you. Loved the comparison between the current chant of “Let the unvaccinated rot” to the Nazi propaganda. You are always so good articulating what I have a hard time putting into words.

What I question and might be an interesting study in itself, is what differentiated us initially from those that are part of the mass psychosis/asleep? What is it about us that we were already aware of the garbage that was and continues to be spewed by govt and media? Is it part of our environment? DNA? Why are we awake and most others not? WHY am I awake and my sibling not? I find this really interesting. Thanks again

Great question Dan. One I have thought a lot about and still don't have a good answer to.

On your comment "...I am starting to think that everyone’s psychosis is entirely unique and very private. This private psychosis (that’s part of a greater mass) clearly, and among other things, lowers our IQ. It lowers our logical problem-solving skills."

I agree. Mass psychosis is necessarily made up of a lot of individual psychoses. But as I've been writing about, I'm seeing the "low IQ" as actually an over reliance on the left hemisphere of the brain - crippling for an individual, devastating on mass. The many (now a cultural norm in the West) who are left brain biased cannot see the forest for the tree directly in front of them, and they are absolutely sure that their perspective is correct. What they can't see they make up or ignore as if it doesn't exist. These are traits of the left hemisphere if left to it's own devices.

Lovely round up of material by the way - love the letter to the SLS Club!
