During the COVID-19 era, I experienced something similar—I was expelled from college for proposing to apply Hannah Arendt’s political concepts to Quebec’s COVID measures in a PhD proposal. Thankfully, Unbekoming was the only platform that published my case of censorship.
WOW! Thanks for the link. You and I, Luc, truly are "birds of a feather"! Your story parallels mine very closely. You're a more formal academic, and I'm more street-level, real-world, field work, as opposed to your more classroom based experiences. I'm too busy studying to actually go for the formal credentials.
I got kicked out of the local "mental health" "peer support center", that I actually helped found 30 years earlier. This was around the time the Director was indicted by the Feds for embezzling over $200K from this "non-profit". The amount of pure financial fraud mirrors the academic fraud....
We HAVE a system-based system, with a process-centered process. That's both why it work so well so often, AND why it works so badly so often. We NEED a services-centered system, and a person-centered process instead. Can you agree?

I have passed on a couple of your pieces, notably the one on open heart surgery - something my mother underwent. Highly successful. However, the alternative would have been so much preferred - no surgery, no recovery time, just a process that is ever more successful.

I love this journey of awakening that so many of us are on. It was funny, after reading your recent article about apricot seeds I was reminded that I did a report on laetrile in 9th grade and I'm now 63. I guess I've been interested in alternative medicine longer than I remembered 😊

Is there any chance you will turn your 5 books into printed books? I am so impressed with your writings. I like to read and hold book in my hands, highlight areas of importance to me, write notes in the margins, etc. I would buy them in a heartbeat . I am finding as I get older, I don’t like to read on my computer or iPad. Thank you.
