OMG, a lightbulb just got turned on. My 1st allergic attack happened in 10th grade at a friends house when I stayed overnight. I was so distressed my father came to get me. Eating at my parents home and other family homes, I never had a reaction to anything, but eating at a girlfriends home was the 1st time I ever came across Ritz crackers. So I was 16.

From 16 to 56 I had regular, albeit at times years of respite, severe allergic reactions to what? could never be nailed down. At 60 came explosions right, left and center. I started reading. An article would trigger an investigation, since no doctor could tell me why these violent anaphylactic episodes occurred. I sought out homeopathy.

I ditched everything that came in a box. No cookies, crackers, cereal, pasta (unless it came from Italy) Next came frozen foods, ditched it all. Then came chelation and oxidative therapy. Cured. BUT, I knew nothing of seed oils. Then I ate a sunflower seed. That was a horror show, the worst.

So now I'm thinking I know what caused a lifetime of anaphylaxis that no doctor could diagnose. You are tested for foods as possible triggers, never the ingredients in the foods. As Dr Cowan said, apples, fish, eggs, mold, natural things, they test for. Even that doesn't mean diddily. My son tested negative for fish and positive for eggs, so I never gave him an egg. First time he had shrimp, I almost lost him. Turns out his vaccine overload of mercury reared it's ugly head when he was 10 and ate the shrimp. He's not allergic to fish. He's allergic to mercury. I'm not allergic to food. I'm allergic to the additives IN the food. For my money you can add allergists to dermatologists to pediatricians as the most useless, moneymaking, scam artists out there.

Thanks for sharing. The Environmental Health Center of Dallas tested me for all kinds of allergies. I didn't have any. (I intuitively knew I didn't.) But they confirmed EHS and MCS. They tested for chemical sensitivity by having someone dressed in a courier-type-uniform walk into the waiting room where I was sitting, and he was wearing Axe Body Spray. They noted my reaction, which was total fight-or-flight-get-me-out-of-here-now elevated BP and stress hormones (cortisol, adrenaline). It was much later when I did hair tissue mineral test (HTMA) and lab report showed high level of copper, that I was able to begin to get my health back in balance. I stopped vegan diet, changed alkaline water to spring water, ate tons of steamed vegetables, recovered from chocolate addiction ( I ate A LOT of organic dark chocolate for the healthy antioxidant effect, not knowing chocolate is high in copper), I took supplements and started Earthing regularly. It took 8 months and I finally fell asleep with a smile on my face -- to the sweet sound of silence -- after I'd had tinnitus for 6 years! Over time, I'd gradually developed more and more symptoms = horrible brain fog (couldn't remember how to do simple math), tingling fingers, insomnia, memory-loss, crazy anxiety. Toxic copper is like PMS on steroids!

Along the health crisis and healing journey, I discovered a Smart Meter about 10 feet outside the wall of my bed, super high EMFs all around me, and mold in the cupboards and closet of my 'cozy' beach cottage apartment. The perfect storm...

I also learned I am a highly sensitive person (HSP). 25-30% of humans and animals have a highly-tuned nervous system. Thankfully, now, I'm healthy, happy, vibrant, 66 yo, organic fanatic, sharing my story on my hard-wired keyboard with my hard-wired internet hookup. Still, if I happen to drink public tap water, I can feel the buzz (from the aluminum in the fluoride?). If I'm in an area with high EMFs, I can feel the buzz. If someone sits next to me in a public place that is polluting the air with perfume or cologne or laundry product stink-stink, I get up and move. If I walk into a public restroom with plug-in air freshener/polluters, I wrap them up and toss them in the trash. (Yes, that is me!) If MSG is hidden in something, I have restless legs that night. Our physical avatars are so amazing, and life is so gosh darn interesting. Why is it such a struggle to simply live - without the constant toxic assault??? Rhetorical, loaded, question. . .

OMG!! what a story. Isn't it awful, after a near lifetime of distress, we finally learn what is causing our trouble that allopaths dismiss as fibromyalgia, depression or PMS? These useless guys & gals can go blow. My so-called primary care dr I was told to see wanted bone scans, mammography, colon checks, put me on BP & statin drugs, are you depressed, she asks. "WELL YEAH, now I am". I ditched her faster than bell bottom pants. I came across women like yourself at chelation sessions where everything had to be turned off during their treatments. I didn't get it. But after a year of chelation I was able to taste like no other. I could literally and immediately taste the chemicals, the heavy metals that chelation had wiped from my body, in food or drink . That's when I understood. I started fasting, grounding and sunshine myself every day I could. I work around the sun. If it's out and I'm busy inside I get my bathing suit on and get out there. And btw, don't bath after sun exposure. Wait till next day.

It's hard to make friends, face-to-face friends who know what's going on. After yoga class the other day, a lady next to me said, I gotta run, going to get my flu shot. I said you still get flu shots? She said, yeh, getting it with my covid shot this year. 🙃 She was not at the next class 2 days later. 🤔

Natural Flavor is another additive that is in EVERYTHING. It is NOT natural, it is man-made MSG - monosodium glutamate. It fries the tips of nerve endings in the brain (excitotoxin) , so neurotransmitters no longer transmit clear signals. It causes all the same poisoning symptoms as tartrazine. It gives me restless legs. Argh! It causes autism symptoms in young brains and Alzheimer symptoms in aged brains. If you eat something that comes in a package, read the ingredient label! Tell your grocer to stop promoting products with synthetic color, flavor, preservatives. I'm returning a box of Organic Tea to my local Trader Joe's this morning, because it contains organic natural flavor! Gimme a break! It is MSG!

Yes the word "natural" has been over-used and abused. Anthony Williams the medical medium has a lot of info about natural flavor etc in his books and vids. Also beware of natural fragrances.

omg! I've read and written volumes on synthetic fragrances, aka endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs), nickname: gender-benders!! They are everywhere! Notice anyone with gender dysphoria lately???

😂 I hear you on the rails, though I’ve always passed on the euphoric drugs, well after some experiments as a teenager. Kinda for the same reason I treat “happiness” with some caution. And instant gratification of all kinds, including from food, as the devil in disguise. I’ve seen all the frames assembled and destroyed, over and over again. All the highs become trenches that reach to hell. There’s some kind of elasticity to the universe, and it’s the snapping back that’ll get ya.

Seems like there was a generation or two that had the misfortune of living under The Science without any independent or intuitive understanding of actual science and health. All they knew was those guys were whiz bang smart. Just look at my microwave! One day we’ll be flying in our cars. To the moon! My boomer parents were like that. Notice they’re the generation that didn’t bat an eye at the explosion of the schedule in ‘89. Well, the World’s Fair is over. The honeymoon will end in divorce. Whatever you do, think, or say, the dialectic will summon the opposite to teach you who is really in charge.

MSG. Excess Glutamate is involved in most progressive brain disorders i know of.

industry hacks like to deceive with the lie of the BBB, knowing full well that the barrier can de damaged. moreover, even without damage, it would be naive to think that glutamate concentrations out side of the bran have no impact on the brain.

I really hope you are able to make a serious impact in this matter! I have a grandson that has so many food allergies, but high on his list is anything with corn in it, and corn is SOME fashion is in almost everything! Corn starch, corn syrup, and also the many additives that are actually grown ON corn - all of which sets him up for terrible reaction. Even though all of his food is screened constantly, manufacturers add new ingredients and don’t mention that on their labels! So, we find out when his symptoms show, and then we call the manufacturer and they admit adding new ingredients…His symptoms? Vomiting, diarrhea, fever, turns pale, personality shifts to almost bipolar episodes, and more. He’s just a little boy, 9yo, but has suffered with this his entire life, despite eating a sound natural vegan lifestyle! It’s so hard on my daughter, trying to make sure he doesn’t come in contact with anything that has corn or is derived from corn. Everything has to be made from scratch, which she doesn’t mind doing - but when products change from week to week without notifying us, it’s next to impossible to keep up with. I applaud you in all your efforts to help bring a healthier diet back to Americans, for the sake of children everywhere!

Sorry but Dr Thomas Cowan is right, but not realistic......

It is like "buy local" but most local farmers are gone or dead, or bought up by bigger companies....

I also remember that they took great advantage $$, of organic produce. I recall buying a kilo of carrots toxic for 50cts, the organic cost me 5 gulders thats 500cts(yep 10x up), I was done with them. (coming from home where we had our own veggie garden organic, you knew you were ripped off)

And most farmers are toxic like F@ck, how do we know cause they are dying of the toxins on produce as well, any light bulbs going of in the farmers mind, nope....That's why we are also in this mess. Explain "peel" coating to me then....its the farmers in the end that put it on it for the mighty buck$$. Or that mist in the supermarkets is toxic as well on the "fresh produce".

Yeah we all got a vegetable garden, yeah I do, but a lot of people do not.....

There is nothing wrong with an label, it's when pharma+petrol started coping Gods Given Ingredients that's when things started to go wrong and on top of it loaded it with pesticides and herbicides. As a double whammy....

I really hate this kind of idiocy level.

We need to go back to a living Kitchen(cooking from scratch), and yes with real non toxic foods.

Labels are not the problems.
