REPLY: Very true. But also missing is todays animals butchered and sold to a local super market near you are raised in CAFOs or Confined Animal Feeding Operations. That means they are loaded with growth hormones antibiotics and toxins from the feed given to these animals.

Now the animals are receiving gene therapy injections instead of the old style vaccines. All these inputs have a profound impact on the health and biology of the animal.

A deep dive into this subject in the future would be useful.
