Frankly, any protecol that supports regular sauna sessions- be they steam, far infrared, or trad gets thumbs up in my book. I would add the niacin via diet, rather than supps given the contamination issues and problems finding genuine, quality supps , but eating liver, anchovies, peanuts, pork, beef, chicken, green beans, etc is not popular these days😉 Whatever gets folks sweating, and moving their lymphatic system is going to make them more resilient, healthier and happier.😉 quality fats are our mito friends but the toxins in our world have turned them into enemies.

This I don't get: carnivores who love to slather animal fat on their food (and face, for that matter, given the recent "beauty" trend). I'm confounded by that since, as your article states, "Fat-stored toxins are 200-500 times more concentrated in tissue...." Imagine what's stored in the factory farmed animals they eat.

Hopefully, the sensible ones are eating organic, regenerative fats if they can afford them. 😉

I did this back around 1979. We ate super low carb to lose fat quicker, took tons of supplements (supervised daily) got exercise, then sat in a sauna to sweat. During the research phase we even wore rubberized sweatsuits while jogging to encourage more sweating! The idea was to get rid of all excess fat stores in the body, thereby removing any lingering toxins such as LSD or other street drugs that lodged in fat tissue, which could come out of storage at uncontrolled times in the future. Niacin was included in the supplements, in increasing doses as tolerated based on the "niacin flush" reaction. The flushing patterns sometimes mimicked the locations of sunburns, x-rays or other excessive radiation exposure that people had suffered, and detoxing this radiation was an intentional part of the program as well. We called it the Sweat-out Program, but it was officially the Purification Rundown. This was back when Hubbard was alive, before the official church went downhill under its new leader. It was interesting because some people who had done significant LSD would sometimes have recognizable "trips" from the acid crystals being released back into their bloodstream to be eliminated.

I like the information included from the Roots about infrared saunas... we didn't have those back then. Thanks for putting this info out there!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I wish we told every woman who wants a child to do this first.
