This operation did little to damage the Russian economy, which continues to grow. It DID push Russia to a closer relationship with the BRICS, who now control an even larger section of the fossil fuel sector. Meanwhile, Germans are suffering with other parts of Europe, whose personal spending power has been crippled by heating costs. Maybe, just maybe, it’s time to stop sticking our nose in places where it doesn’t belong.

Did the pipes really get broken? Funny how they said the "bombing" didn't damage all of the pipes. Hmmm.

Meanwhile, Russia is paying Ukraine to transport gas to Europe despite being in a "war" against Ukraine.....

I have to say I thought it is very easy to say that the link is broken and provide a photo of bubbling seas.

Which could be Joe Biden farting in his swimming pool. :)

Anyway, haven't they got lengths of pipe to replace damaged sections?

Easier though to turn off the gas and say 'Ooh, the one in the braces, he done it!'.

The “Empire” does not exist and has never existed. Any empire.

There are only particular people who group together (formally or not, for their own sake or under the false premise of acting for or on behalf of larger groups, like nations or countries).

These people tend to define the so-called laws and secure them with enforcement and penalties - which are not suprahuman or objective of of any higher order. All laws are aligned to keep the isolation of those who can “manage” others from those would prefer living a quiet life without being disturbed and without disturbing others.

With enough whistleblowing efforts, FOIA requests and true journalism, sooner or later documents, interviews and facts come to the surface which prove that we - as a society - don’t know what “law” means and we don’t care. Decision-making groups (aka the “Empire”) do whatever they want, not asking anyone, disregarding common sense, the rule of the law which they define themselves, openly violating international relations. Nobody there is interested in keeping the standards of “ecology”, “environmental care”, “justice”, “national sovereignty”, “primum non nocere” or any other catchy phrase used to generate $$ trillions in free, non-taxable, unaccountable money flows to individual pockets of particular people and their “families”.

AD 2024, we are equal to the fantasy images of the games of the thrones, pre-civilized invasions and forceful taking of the living space of other nations.

Is it good? Or bad? It is what it is. Apparently, we - as a community - don’t know any other way of living. We don’t know and don’t accept peaceful coexistence - the whole history is proof of this, every year, every month, every day. Arts and humanities are only a fleeting brake between invasions, attacks, false flags, Trojan horses, colonial conquests or, in general, illegal actions aimed at depriving others of what they have.

Where does it start? At home. Like anything else. We all are being “brought up” within certain packages of rules and guidelines, originally (probably) intended to make a life in a commune easier. Then, something cracks within us and we forget all beautiful stories. We love children only when they are helpless and completely subordinate to our will, beautiful newborns. As soon as they can walk and provide useful work, we destroy them and mold into useful slaves. We don’t teach them the basics of human relationships, the timeless morale and ethics, we don’t educate them about falling in love, building the relationship and ending it with dignity, if such need arises. We leave our own children helpless in the face of Life. No wonder that many of these children will grow into becoming tyrants, master manipulators who will skilfully build groups of impact who will mercilessly exploit others. No civilization there.

But this is not any “empire”. These are all particular individuals who have names and are identifiable as individual persons, with all the interesting characteristics of psychological analysis. They - we - all come from the same place, Home, and it is there where we are NOT being taught how to live in peaceful coexistence with other people.

Why is it important? Because we are here for a very short time. 50, 60, 70 years for the fortunate ones. This time limit for us to become human will expire much much sooner than we think. In a sense, it is amazing how much destruction, hatred, damage and human injury we are able to leave behind when the time comes to make the final settlement. And equally amazing how few and scarce good deeds we are able to do during our lifetime. Especially when we are in positions of power and making decisions for others.

But this is not any “empire”. This is what we are, you and me, particular individuals with specific personal characteristics.

Does Seymour Hersh have ulterior motives? Is he a "Journalist" or a Limited Hang-out cover provider, with unknown masters and a different agenda?

I see the main motive for the destruction of Nord Stream as being to weaken the growing Peace in Central Europe. When the pipeline constructions from Russia to Europe began, many people were very happy. Such mutually beneficial trade made future European Wars much less likely.

Who really benefited from the pipeline destruction? Is there an entity that hates both Germany and Russia? NATO springs immediately to mind; Alliances between Germany and Russia would negate the Global ambitions of this military bureaucracy. But, I think that answer is incomplete.

I suspect that Global Zionism is a far better fit for The Perpetrator. This group exhibits 'Means, Motive, and Opportunity' with their trans national connections and influence in ever country.

Here is an amusing take from Jimmy Dore on what Putin said to Tucker (satire):
