Pets have the same reactions as humans, and don't live as long because of vaxes, that said most people don't learn how to care for any pet, what food to feed, the fewer ingredients in kibble the better. NO CORN, how to train, this part got out of hand during the lockdowns. When you need to take them to the Vet. Ill trained dogs bite, tear up furniture, a pet that terrorizes it's owner is rarely salvageable. I know Caesar Milan is a staged show, but his methods do work, we use it on our 2 twelve lb lazy lap dogs. That developed a few small bad habits as they are now 9/10, we won't tolerate. No excited Baby talk, use bad when they do wrong, or good dog when they did what you ask. Baby Carrots make good healthy treats.
Yup, pets are fed the same toxic food as many humans eat, too... Even the marketing on pet food is addressing humans; pet owners might even feel they are in a restaurant! :)
Corn and soy are over 90% GMO, which kills even rats.
Raw carrots contain high levels of lectins that destroy the gut flora... Quite a few foods are high in lectins, while probiotics are removed from most foodstuff, including organic, by "pasteurization" or by UV irradiation that render the produce infertile...
What can I give them as a treat, they are a perfect 12 lbs, without looking emaciated. Just normal weight. Healthy coats, and eyes, They run up the hill and back down, at 9/10 no interest in playing fetch. Blood work is good. They like apples, sweet potatoes.
Not sure. I would try for something local from farmers I know...
You are dead on accurate!! YES!
yep! Except watch the carrots. We were trying to get our “very mare-ish” horse to be less mare-ish. She kept getting MORE mare-ish with each passing day. Turns out carrots are filled with photo-estrogens and we were giving her about a bag a day. 😬
Now, it looks like I can see why I don't care for carrots! :)
