Here’s the thing, I had a biochemist pal from USC who was researching the potential correlation between aluminum and Alzheimer’s and Dementia tell me with a straight face that there is “no profit in a cure”. I do not understand why we accept that. I do not understand why illness has become something to merely profit from as healthy people are a lot more productive in society. Everything, literally, would be so much better if every human was healthy. Not for the pharmaceutical industry but I do not care about that industry. We could create different jobs that are based on life-giving things rather than a sickness industry and society would be better. Why don’t we do that? I’ve heard that I “need to learn to think like a psychopath” (no kidding) but WHY would I do that? It seems to me that we have enough of those in positions of power and thus our reality is like a bad movie. Why can’t we build something new and awesome based upon health in every sense of the word…physically, mentally, spiritually? For ourselves and everyone that comes after us? That’s part of what I do not understand. I’m not interested in maintaining the status quo, that’s for sure.
