I left a very lucrative job establishing the overhead rate for federally sponsored research at the time I was required to lie along with big accounting firms. As it happened, I did the right thing and after I officially left, the very day, in fact, a big story blew open in the media regarding the shenanigans. I’m just trying to keep my karma clean these days. I don’t want any part of making people sick so I have a pretty crappy job now but I can sleep at night.
