Great post, agree with everything but the vegetarian diet, stay away from the sun, Dr. Ornish. I know many vegetarians that are not healthy, fat etc. Keto, low-carb/high good fats, good meats are the way to go.
Absolutely right about the sun: sun exposure has been demonised but you can't obtain vitamin D from any other source (NOT pills!). Very little cancer when I was a kid and this was way before sunscreens.
I ate a mostly vegetarian diet for 7 years, in protest of the factory farming, poisoning and torturing of animals. I became very thin, not fat. I worked hard in the garden's growing much of what I ate at that time. I've always been healthy.
Also, in our mouth, we still have 4 “pointed” teeth called “canines “ (the same, although less sharp, than in our pet 🐕 dogs mouth) they are meant for cutting 🍖.
Our Mother Nature or the evolution still wants us to eat meat 🤔
Yes sir, I took B12, B Complex vitamins,and Bioplasma. I used Ghee, still ate free range Egg's from my neighbors when, and Raw cheese and some fresh caught fish when it was available. I'm back to eating Beef, Chicken and Turkey now, with mostly Beef,that is supposed to be Grass Fed, since 2020. It took my digestive system a little while to adjust to eating Beef again, which had always my favorite meat. I don't regret eating mostly vegetarian for those years, as I felt it was a worthy cause. A lot of people became aware of the horrors of factory farming, poisoning and torture of Cows and chickens during that time.😊

Many people i know first feel good on that diet because they are more cognizant of excercise, processed foods, the big picture. Most tend to eat way to many carbs, shoots up glucose, turns on the pancreas to manufacture insulin/fat storing hormone. Goal is to have optimal glucose/insulin levels. I think we all understand no one is getting out of this world alive in there mortal body, but we all can decide how graceful the departure will be.
Vicki from what I read quite often is that you have to be concerned with low cholesterol with a veg diet. The medical world will/still applauds low cholesterol, but the lower your cholesterol the higher all cause mortality/Alzheimer's etc. Mine is quite high, not concerned though. I have a CAC SCORE of 0 & my Triglycerides/HD ratio is optimal/low. That being said life has a history of throwing some good curve balls so one always has to be on guard.

This is a very good essay, except - Question 27 is wrong! The vaccines cause cancer and they are not even mentioned. Meat does not cause cancer. Cigarettes are not such a large cause of cancer because people have stopped smoking. The plastics and pesticides cause cancer and they are not mentioned..
My favorite method of avoiding being maimed or murdered by doctors is simply to avoid them. I had both of my children at home WITHOUT intervention, (worked out great!) and I have gone without medical insurance for almost 30 years.
I just saw my mother in-law over Thanksgiving. Had the most frustrating conversation with her about her cancer and her recent multiple broken bones. I saw that she is taking multiple blood pressure meds, all of which are made from snake venoms. I had already shown her the evidence that these poisons are proven to causes bone loss AND cancer. She agreed that these ARE the known "side-effects" of these toxins. She also agreed there are many completely safe and effective natural ways to avoid high blood pressure.
When I asked why she hadn't stopped taking multiple toxic and dangerous pills (which are the likely cause of her health problems, including a disintegrating spine, leaving her bed-ridden) she explained that she was afraid she would lose her HEALTH insurance if she failed to follow her doctor's orders by poisoning herself multiple times per day!!!!
I had no more words for her. I do know that she enjoys being so completely disabled that her son (my husband, whom I would've liked to have a marriage with) has to live with, and care for her 24/7. I have to wonder if she fears he might leave her alone (for even 10 minutes) if she stopped destroying her health with the poison, and she actually recovered the ability to care for herself?
There's just no way she believes she's be better off WITH "health" insurance, but WITH the cancer battle and WITH frequent broken bones (every couple of weeks now). The only things she needs medical care for, are being caused by the poison they've prescribed for her. And I do not believe a doctor can strip a person of their health insurance just because they refuse to take drugs for a "condition" that's not even REAL, let alone life-threatening.

The human digestive system (acid profile and structure) is supremely suited for efficient and swift digestion of animal products. And it's a very poor system for digesting (fermenting) plants. Even apes are required to eat their own crap in order to obtain adequate nutrition from the plants they eat, due to the fact they are "hind fermenters" and by the time enough of the plants have been "eaten by" the microbes, this mess has passed through too far to be absorbed.
So this is why you see apes eating their own shit. They are lacking the multiple additional stomachs found in ruminant animals like cows. And even cows are forced to eat their own vomit and poop in a desperate attempt to squeeze as much nutrition as they can out of the microbes which they grew as a sort of "farm" - by feeding the organisms these ground up plants. PLUS, these creatures are required to munch/graze for 12 to 16 hours per day in order to survive.
What human can devote this much time to eating? And since we're not eating our own crap, we're not getting anywhere near the nutrition an ape will get from plants. Plus, apes have much larger stomachs than humans. Ape stomachs are far more capable of the handling the large quantities of greens, as well as the long process of fermentation, required to produce the "bloom" of organisms (which are actually what's "eating" those plants) sufficient to allow the ape to harvest those organisms (and their byproducts) which apes grow inside of their massive stomachs. Later, during Covid, she was told she had a-fib and advised to take rivaroxaban, and within months came out with red blotches all over her body and died. WTF!

The book, Sacred Cow did get me more comfortable with other than grass fed/finished beef. Not everyone can afford that choice.
