"They" are broadcasting an ugly, very low sound, hard to hear, intermittent, oscillating frequency almost every night for the last month and a half. It comes and goes all night long. Penetrates everything. Wakes you up. We sleep with cotton packed in our ears. It kind of sounds like running your wet finger around the rim of a glass except that it's an ugly, piercing, cringy, sound. Maybe off G flat or sharp. So irritating. Suspect "5G"towers. There are lots of them.
