Isn’t it interesting that the language is very perceptive?

The phrase is about “doctoring” data - indicating a very particular profession to stand for the process itself.

Not even lawyerizing. Not propagandizing or politicizing or mediating or bloggingizing.

Very good information. I would add IF you go to your doctor for advice first ask them to take off the big red nose and clown shoes.

They have ONLY become drug pushers and have NO knowledge of what "healthy" means especially related to nutrition.

This is the first book you've reviewed that I already read, lol.

Loved this book ... it should be on everyone's list imho.

Thanks for the Kendrick interview link too. Going to watch that soon.

Fantastic. I've been reading Kendrick's blog for many years and my wife is currently in the middle of reading Doctoring Data. Not only is it probably the best expose on modern medicine, but it's actually written in an amazingly entertaining way, with very healthy doses of exasperated humor. The man is intelligent, knowledgable, and he has the very rare ability to convey this complex information in a way that the average person can understand it.

Doctoring Data is one of my favorite books on medical deception. I refer my clients that believe their statin drug is beneficial to this book.

Malcolm Kendrick was one of the few truthful voices in the beginning of the Covid idiocy! I read his writings before then, but loved that he didn’t drink the kool-aid so many other docs did.

Sadly people continue to believe their doctors are almost gods, and follow whatever they are told blindly taking dangerous pharma drugs like candy.

I always urge people to look up Every drug they take including OTC we are led to believe are perfectly safe to use freely as often as needed. Not true! Easy to look up and read what they allow to be published…Drugs.com

Easy web address, and easy to look up drugs you take or are told to take. Just do it, no matter what your doc says…and maybe save your future! Most data is out there IF you look for it.

Fantastic interview. Malcolm Kendrick disclosed several ways to lie with statistics I don't think even Huff thought of.

You must be a mind reader. I was just thinking of messaging you to ask you to either interview Dr Kendrick or to summarize one of his books.

An hour after thinking that I opened this email

"By pointing to the French paradox – the observation that the French have a low rate of heart disease despite consuming a diet high in saturated fat."

Big time fan of high fat French cooking with sauces taught to me by an old Auntie who was warned by the doctors in her fifties the diet would surly result in an early death from a heart attack, to which she replied at least I'll go happy.. so she did on the porch swing with a slice of pecan pie on her lap at the age of 97 finally the doctor was right! :~)

The latest common rejoinder to the tiny absolute benefit is to insist that it is because of only short trial duration....thatbif one were to be on a statin for 50 years it would be ten times or so the risk reduction of a 5 yr triali
