Brilliant satire!! “fascionable,” indeed 😂

You are deploying the strategy of paradox beautifully:

Can’t wait to hear the response (ha ;-)

Thank you Margaret. I'll enjoy reading that. I will definitely post the response if I ever get one.

I got this "Sorry, something went wrong in the process. Please try again later."

How could I communicate with people if they blocked me....

Superb! So many highlights - Warnie, the Italian 'fascionable' reference.

What we are really seeing here with Woolie's vaxx mandate is a marketing gimmick (shop with us - we are 'Covid Safe') which tries to honour a commercial imperative (to make money hand over fist by attracting the neurotic customers still terrified of the virus) without turning away the Untermencsh through a vaxx passport. So, the employees are the fall guy who suffer whilst the board rubs its greedy hands with glee. Ah, the beauties of Covid capitalism.

Thanks Phil and beautifully put. Yes, Covid capitalism indeed. His CMO will be the ultimate fall guy.

What a masterful use of sarcasm, Mr Mubongi.

I was horrified and mesmerised by the laying out naked of the mass formation thought forms. Thank you for poking the bear!

I must say, I was a little confused and unsure about a serious letter of complaint being sent in sarcasm mode, and wasn’t even sure you had actually sent this, until reading the comments. I’m quite black and white in my thinking, and sarcasm just flies right over the top of my head most of the time - but that’s me, and I realise it is a very popular mode of communication these days, and even a few years ago in our household, it seemed to be the dominant mode of often times very confusing communication, which only I seemed to struggle with.

However, after reading through to the end, I do see the cleverness in this letter, and when read with the switch to usual working of my mind, I do hope it has the intended effect on whoever ends up reading it.

In any case, I enjoy reading ALL your posts, and must ‘catch up’ on a few today...😊

P.s. I intend not to shop at either Coles or Woolworths again, and am currently relying on IGA to not follow suit, although I only read yesterday that a store has now mandated for their staff. At least they are more independent, I think... And, Coles had emailed me to ask why they hadn’t seen me in their stores for so long - I gave my feedback for whatever it was worth.

Thank you Samantha. It was weird going into "hypnotised" mode to write it. Yes, we have switched to IGA also and Harris Farm.

What was the email address you sent it to? I would like to give him another jab....

I had to use their online form. If I ever get an decent email address will send it again.

Yes, I sent them a blast via their online form, too. Their reply was beyond ludicrous -- following 'the science', 'the science clearly shows', blah, blah blah. Needless to say, I sent them another blast in reply. Never shopping with them again.

Woolies must have blocked me since it said "Sorry, something went wrong in the process. Please try again later."
