I am in disbelief, shock and dismay in what is happening in your country right now. Heck, in almost all countries worldwide. I genuinely feel for you all. And I fear you may be a bellwether for what is to come in more and more supposedly free western countries. I stumbled upon this today:
Note at the top, active cases are at 7. 7! That’s enough to designate it a “hot spot,” where if you enter you have to quarantine for 14 days at your expense. And these hot spots can be declared at will and at any time by your government. So they say be prepared in case you get caught in one.
There have been reports of facilities and government orders to support such actions in New York. That has gone quiet since, but the stage has been set.
How can a society possibly function with that threat looming over them? These are dark days, friend.
I want to thank you for your courage in writing this substack. I really hope there is some way out of this madness, and soon.

What are we going to do? They’re destroying private wealth and maiming and killing people indiscriminately.
