All this info about teeth and how they really work, that they sweat, that they are alive, has been revelatory to me. Dentists and doctors, on average, are more clueless about the workings of the human body than....than......(no words)....
Just as always, what counts for the docs is to earn as much money in as little time possible. And instead of drilling and filling, why not look at WHY these teeth are decaying in a 3 year old child. Should that child already be at a dentist's? I remember at age 7, that my baby teeth had to be pulled because they were in the way of my permanent teeth. They were that strong. I suspect there is something very 'off' with children's food, that they have cavities in baby teeth. That they fill these temporary teeth with poison is even more telling what counts!
In 62 years of life, including all the children I've ever known as a former childcare professional, mother, and friend to other parents & children -
- I have never known one case of any preschooler needing dental care, nor older child needing more than simple filling of cavities in baby teeth!!
What is going on with pediatrics in this day and age that parents are not being told to limit cavity causing foods & keep their toddlers teeth clean, especially after sugary snacks?!?
This has been standard knowledge for as long as I can remember - what happened?!?
"A breathtaking exercise in criminal irresponsibility," was how Andy Cutler referred to the medical us of mercury. And yes, mixed metals in the mouth will cause a galvanic situation and mercury and nickel will both evaporate out and get absorbed. All these metals are synergistic, too, so the combo will be exponentially more toxic.
Excellent and needed article. I have shared it via email with friends and family, and posted it in the comments section on Age of Autism today. Also, upvotes done!
by the way, is there any knowledge as to what alternatives exist to hold space between the teeth until the time comes for the mouth to bring out the new tooth?
Education silos are a good way to take your money and put it in their bank accounts. Makes me wonder if the questions are not asked because asking such questions will affect the size of their balance. We, who are victims of such thievery need to ask is this procedure necessary. This does require that we study the problem, how bad is it and if the side effects are worth it. In my mind, no dental issue is worth putting metals into a child's mouth knowing that the only barrier between your child's mouth and the child's brain is the soft palate.
In fact, I'd doubt I would ever take my child to a dentist or even to a doctor; there are exceptions, trauma or a condition that needs medical intervention now. Same with a pet: no vet unless trauma. Unfortunately the lack of veterinary phlebotomists means one has to go to a vet just to get a lab test that requires a blood draw. In the human space, one can order the test from a lab and they'll either do the blood draw if there is a local facility for the lab or refer you to a phlebotomist for the blood draw.

Between our generation and the next young women and mothers have lost their brains I think.
This is also an issue in materials used for hip and knee joint replacements. Perhaps another area worth investigating.

Are all braces nickel? What is a better way to straighten teeth?

Makes me question my hardware for an ACL reconstruction
very interesting, thank you, makes perfect sense.

"Ethical"..? Just because something is possible doesn't mean it should be done...Where is the common sense..?
