I would also recommend reading Dr Robert Lufkin's book, "Lies I Taught in Medical School". He talks about the foods we eat and the damage they do. The worst thing you can give a Type 2 diabetic is insulin. Severe damage to the body and they cannot lose weight due to the Pituitary and ghrelin in the body and their response to high and low blood sugar. Using his advice, I am off all injectables and simply taking Berberine 500 mg twice a day. I've lost 40 lbs in the last year. I can still have sweets on special occasions if I want without throwing my body a curve. There is also an excellent video by "Dr Been" in his podcasts.
Yes! Yes! Yes! Keep it simple is my motto. You just listed everything that I do. Only thing else I have added to your list is eliminate vaccines, fluoride in cooking water, no aluminum and drink Fiji water. Then I sit back in the afternoon, watch the world go by, and have a glass of goat milk. On the rocks.
Grounding is to get in contact with the earth, to equilibrate the magnetic field in us. This could be done in many ways: swimming in the sea/lake, touching materials anchored in the soil (plants, trees, rocks, metals), walking barefoot on sand/grass/rocks.
Having isolated materials as plastics, rubber doesn't help.
I have read of statins depleting CoQ10. I imagine there are more drugs that interfere with the vitamins and minerals our bodies need. This is one reason I take no big pharma drugs, not even OTC. I do not trust anything big pharma says or does or markets.
I gave up seed oils in 2012. The first thing I noticed was my joint pain went away. It’s really hard to avoid them these days. Almost everything in the grocery stores and restaurants are made with them. I went to s new food coop promoting healthy food and I could still not buy anything on the shelves because they were made with seed oils. 100% of products I was looking for. They lost a potential customer. Expensive as well. I may supplement Coq10.
By and large I stopped reading ingredients anymore. They have all proven themselves to be garbage, so I already know. That prompted me to eliminate 6-8 aisles in a grocery store. No frozen, no prepackaged, no snacks, cereals, cookie, cracker, soda, canned. So much simpler and quick shopping. What I can't make myself, I never really needed. Once I read the importance of mitochondrial function, I've been taking CoQ10 for years now. Haven't had a days sickness in 10 years.
vegetable oils (sunflower, soybean corn, cottonseed, grapeseed etc.) have high amounts of Linoleic Acid also known as PUFAs (polyunsaturated fatty acids) which damage mitochondria by causing them to "leak" hydrogen atoms (the cell membrane becomes leaky when it is made from PUFAs).
Coconut oil is saturated oil and that is healthy. Along with grass fed beef tallow and grass fed ghee (clarified butter).
I see multiple other people criticizing the seed oil mentioned in the article. It really is a big cause of the obesity epidemic due to damaging mitochondria and lowering the energy that a person burns daily.
Also, you mention spinach which is high in calcium oxalates which are hugely damaging to the body at high levels and spinach has, by far, the most calcium oxalates of any food - by a factor of 10 or more compared to most other foods.
As much as I admire Dr. Sinatra (may he rest in peace), his recommendation of seed oils (soybean and rapeseed/canola especially) shocks me, as incorporation of such fats in cellular membranes will reduce the stored negative charge in each cell! But his recommendations for heart failure (which includes CoQ-10) are spot on. One can only imagine what he might have shared with us all if he had lived longer. Definitely a doc who wore a white hat!
Imagine what might happen if CoQ10 cured a case of disease? Nothing... Cured is not medically nor scientifically defined for any disease cured by CoQ10. It's a shame that our medical system has a built in bias against any treatment that is not patented and bureaucratically approved and also has a built in bias against "cured" for any non-infectious disease.
As a result, the book can say that "When treating these patients with CoQ10 to help support their hearts, I became aware of many accidental 'cures.' " - but real cures? Not a word. Real cures by CoQ10 are simply not defined, and claiming a real cure in our current medical paradigm is equivalent to claiming to have found a elephant. Even if one is found, it's probably plastic, fake, or a lie. Anyone who claims CoQ10 cured any disease is a quack for sure.
I read Dr Sinatra's book in 2009 when my husband was diagnosed with Non-ischemic Cardiomyopathy. I put my husband on the 4 supplements he recommended and his Ejection Fraction increased by 7 points which blew the Cardiologist's mind. He made it 10 years and was functional, no oxygen supplement before he died of a totally unrelated issue. My husband's Nephrologist also read this book and began using it on all his patients who had heart disease in addition to their renal problems. I originally started hubs on CoQ10 in 1991 after I read an article in Texas Monthly about the benefit of CoQ10 for gum disease. He never had any dental care until he joined the Marines but did continue to have gum disease. The addition of CoQ10 made a complete turn around in his dental health. I can't say enough good things about this supplement.
thank you, I'm been lifelong egg lover and I'm actually experimenting with eating red meat everyday for 1 week to see if it will do something positive for certain symptoms I've experienced. Bonus now I know I'm getting Q10!
Thank you for this post. I studied personally several times under Dr. Sinatra at ACIM (Acimconnect.com). He was a knowledgeable lecturer for sure and is missed.
One comment regarding the use of PQQ is always use the ubiqionone form with it rather than the ubiquinol form. Please correct me if I am wrong.
You may have it backwards. When I do a Google search on what form of CoQ10 is used with PQQ, AI says Ubiquinol and manufacturers of a pill that contains PQQ and CoQ10 have it in the form of Ubiquinol. Life extensions is one brand.
I don’t trust google. To be honest i only trust substack and for how long, who knows. I use a couple of other search tools. Thanks for the info. I’ll look at it. Cheers. 😉👍🏻
The pillars of health:
1. Most of the diet, over 70%, should consist of red meat, animal fat, eggs and dairy, all as clean and less processed as you can
2. Avoid sugar, carbohydrates, seed oils and any other chemical that wasn't in the food before 150 years ago
3. Stay in the sun or outside minimum 1 hour per day
4. Stay grounded at least 1 hour per day
5. Move a lot.

He is Dr Mobeen Sayed and the videos are #44, #45 & #54. Explains how berberine works in your body.
When I got off insulin, I was amazed at how much "fog" was lifted from my brain and how much better I felt.
I can add: "Lies my doctor told me" by Dr Ken Berry, "Virus Mania" by Dr Samantha Beiley & Co, Dr's Salisbury book from 1870 I think
sorry. I did a search and found it. Don't know why my computer would not get that site because that was the exact address. Weird. Thank you tho.
This says page not found. Is there a different web address? Thank you. I am very interested.

On the idea of grounding...is walking in the house in bare feet on carpet which is on a cement slab considered grounding? Thanks.

I had a cold in 2017 on a cruise. I’m 76. Walked 7 miles this Wednesday People don’t seem to understand how these changes give health. 👍🏻👍🏻
Don’t either. Nothing much down the aisles and even on the perimeter is iffy now. I do live near many producer farms here in the country.
Please what? Seed oils are poison.
Start with this and continue to study the subject: https://youtu.be/5Sumt0_yaGU

Very informative article, thank you.
Would you please have a look at organic cold pressed castor oil? (Unsure whether you've already done so, as am new here.)
Thanks!

Stephen has been a pioneer in raising the alarm about EMF's. It's thankless work.
good 🌹🌻🌸💐💚💛💜❤️🌼😍🥰
Never knew CO Q10 had SO Many benefits! Thanks for very interesting article
Mixing up anything that the body is supposed to produce with a synthetic replacement is criminal...
Any recommendations of how to choose a good CoQ10 supplement? I want to experiment with that, inaddition to tweaking diet & lifestyle.
Eat more red Meat and eggs. You'll get q10 from those

Try do it for 30 days to allow gut microbiome to do some changes.
