The Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018 and Mandatory “Vaccination”

QANTAS: The Flying Australian Slaver

I got to thinking about slavery this weekend, as kittens are prone to do from time to time. Although no self-respecting kitten would ever think of themselves as a slave, quite the opposite, it is their “owner” that they control and manipulate.

I was thinking, if I had a slave, that would mean that I “owned” someone else’s body.

If I owned their physical body, I could do whatever I wanted with it, it was mine after all.

So, I guess that is what slavery is at the end of the day, getting to do what you want with someone else’s body.

Hmmm…

Now, I work in Australian financial services, and we have been receiving more and more emails and enquires about our “position” on slavery…obviously I think it’s a less than ideal situation.

The reason for all this interest in slavery is apparently a new Commonwealth law on the subject, the Modern Slavery Act 2018. So, as I was laying in the sun, I started wondering what the Act thought of slavery, and what was the actual definition?

Hmmm…

So, I looked it up here:

What is modern slavery?

The term modern slavery is used to describe situations where coercion, threats or deception are used to exploit victims and undermine or deprive them of their freedom.

Hmmm…

That sounds very familiar.

It’s a SITUATION where COERCION and THREATS are used to exploit VICTIMS and undermine or DEPRIVE them of their FREEDOM.

So…let’s take the very simple case of our flying Kangaroo, QANTAS.

It seems like QANTAS has created a SITUATION where they are COERCING and THREATENING their staff (VICTIMS) to take a genetic medication at the risk of DEPRIVING them of their FREEDOM to continue working with the organisation.

That seems to fit, and sounds like something the Modern Slavery Act wouldn’t approve of.

If we go to page 9 of this wonderful document we find this Dummies Guide to Slavery, because it is hard to spot sometimes, and we need all the help we can get.

It turns out that QANTAS is in the RED Zone. Their favourite colour.

I know what you are thinking, this isn’t what this Act is about, it’s about little kids being forced to make little things with their little fingers in faraway countries under conditions of coercion and threat.

Sure, there’s that too.

But the problem is in the way they chose to define it and the “types” of exploitation they created.

Now we go to page 77 and look under Type of Exploitation, and we find Forced Labour and now we read what the definition of Forced Labour is:

Describes situations where the victim is either not free to stop working or not free to leave their place of work.

That sounds like many QANTAS staff if you ask me.

I am going to go out on a limb, but it’s a short kitten limb, QANTAS is engaged in slavery as defined by the Act.

QANTAS is in active breach of its 2020 Modern Slavery Statement.

A large portion of its work force are now “forced labour” (pardon the pun).

The mandating of “vaccination” to a group of staff that don’t want it, but that are NOT FREE to stop working, has created a Forced Labour Force.

But it gets better, it turns out that there are 5,146 Entities in Australia covered by Modern Slavery Statements.

I posit that any one of these entities that mandates “vaccination” will be actively engaged in slavery (as defined by the Act).

In this modern hyper-virtue signaling world of ours, how many companies want to be known as slavers?
