Novak’s public burning and other tennis stories
Choosing not to run through the spike protein minefield.
How easy do you think it would be for Novak to get a fake jab certificate? He has access to plenty of friendly doctors that would gladly signoff that he’s had the jab. Nobody would ever know.
While on that question, how many of the approximately 1,800 professional tennis players on the ATP Tour, do you think have done exactly that? Young athletes in the prime of their lives, at zero statistical and practical risk of dying from Covid, looking at professional athletes all over the world dropping like flies and deciding to avoid the jab but maintain their career through a friendly doctor.
The answer is, it’s very easy and I am confident it’s rife within professional sports.
The point here is that Novak didn’t go down that path. His position has been a principled one from the outset.
This is the problem with Novak, he is a high profile principled human being. Within this problem lay the opportunity for the Australian bio-security police state.
I recently read The Witch Persecutions as I’ve become interested in the European hunt, torture and killing of “witches”. It’s a horrifying history that went on for hundreds of years, peaking in Germany in the mid-17th Century (it had to be Germany didn’t it!).
The Witch Persecutions: From Translations and Reprints : Burr, George, Warwick, Tarl
One of the features of the persecution of witches (mostly women but also many men) was the public burning. They would torture them for long periods with the aim of getting a confession and also new accusations (names) that would fuel further witch hunts. It had its own multi-level marketing structure.
Once they were done torturing the poor soul, they would burn them publicly, often alive and sometimes (mercifully) after a beheading.
Ask yourself, what’s the point of a public burning? They could just as easily kill them in the dungeons post confession and new names. What’s the point?
Here are three benefits for the State from a public burning:
It reminds everybody in town who’s boss.
It maintains a useful amount of fear within the community, reminding everyone that they could be next.
It gives comfort to the true believers that they are right in their convictions, that witches are real, they are dangerous, and they are right to be burned. The State’s actions map over the believes of the true believers who are the States main source of “approval”.
It’s through this lens that I’ve been watching the Novak story unfold.
I believe it’s a coordinated public burning of a heretic.
They could have not given him an exemption to start with. After giving it, they could have notified him of the cancellation of his visa before he got on a plane.
Instead, what looks like an uncoordinated bunch of bumbling government fools, instead in my opinion they have coordinated his arrival into the country, detention and now deportation in the most public of ways.
If you think the government is worried about its reputation as it relates to tourism, it’s not. That sector is already dead and will stay dead for quite some time.
You cannot think of Australia as a standalone country anymore, instead you need to see Australia as one of about 200 players in a new global grid that is being formed. Within this grid, Australia’s burning of Novak play’s an important role. Citizens in other countries can look at Australia and think “at least we are not that crazy” while their leaders gradually tighten the noose around their distracted and “relieved” citizens.
Back home in Australia, there is substantial value in the public burning of Djokovic.
It’s an effective and forceful reminder of the power of the State. The Federal government still calls the shots. Don’t think the Premiers run the show!
It maintains a useful amount of fear within the community. That even someone as high profile as Novak will get punished if they get out of line. So, put your mask on and go and get your booster!
It gives comfort to the true believers. That small but rabid portion of the population that did as they were told, are living in terror of the virus and want everyone else to do as they are told. If I have to suffer then so do you!
Novak’s public burning as very little downside, its pretty much all upside for The State.
Imagine he had been allowed in for a moment.
Unjabbed and likely to win the whole thing. How do you think Federal and State governments look with an unjabbed winner lifting the trophy. Can it get anymore counter narrative than that?
If the Nazi’s really thought that Jesse Owens could win gold, they would never have allowed him into Germany for the 1936 Olympics. They really believed in Aryan superiority and Jesse Owens was there to help them prove the point, once a white runner won the race. Except in didn’t go to plan for them did it?
Jesse Owens Wins 100m Gold as Hitler Watches at 1936 Olympics
An unjabbed Novak lifting the trophy was never going to happen.
To the rabid part of Australian society cheering on the government for not allowing Novak in, this is a good summary just for you.
It’s worth noting that Victoria has had over 50,000 cases in a day overnight. Novak, with his negative tests is no medical threat to anybody. Quite the contrary, he’d be bring in with him some of that valuable natural immunity. This was never about a virus, it’s all purposeful political burning theatre.
Now let’s look at some related stories.
Nadal
Where as Novak has stood up for one set of principles, Nadal has chosen to stand up for another set. Nadal is now the “follow the rules” guy.
Nadal now represents the States position. In his mind, following the rules and getting injected will somehow reduce the suffering. In his world view, playing in the Open is more important than individual sovereignty and bodily autonomy. He will look back on this moment in years to come with shame.
In the meantime, shame on you Nadal.
Kyrgios
Our own tennis brat, Nick Kyrgios, instead came to Novak’s defence (sort of). Nick is pro-vax and is disappointed in the State’s handling of the matter. It’s not the full throttled defence of induvial choice and personal freedom, but I’ll take it. Are you paying attention Nadal?
Renata Voracova
Now that the State played their hand, Voracova was an inconvenience and a highlight of their hypocrisy. Having already been allowed in and having played in warm up tournaments, the State decide to cancel her visa.
Basilashvili
In other news Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili couldn’t finish his match against Tsitsipas. At this point we all know what causes a young supremely fit athlete to grip their chest and withdraw from a match.
Novak chose not to run through the spike protein minefield, while Basilashvili chose to make the run and unfortunately stepped on a land mine.
Chardy
Another who chose to run through the minefield is world no. 73 Jeremy Chardy.
He also stepped on a mine, but at least he is honest enough to publicly admit his regret.
Novak’s Father
He is exactly right. This is a battle, and his son has stood up for the right side of that battle.
Novak’s Mother
She is right, it is political.
Dr. Tess Lawrie
And lastly, I want to end with a few words from the wonderful Tess Lawrie. Here she is, on the behalf of the World Council of Health defending Novak.
World Council for Health Statement on Discrimination Against Novak Djokovic
The World Council for Health maintains that the experimental gene-based “vaccines” do not stop the spread of disease, especially not the highly transmissible Omicron variant that is now widely distributed around the world, including in Australia. Therefore, demanding “vaccination” as a prerequisite to competing in the Australian Open is discriminatory and not backed by readily available evidence.
Thank you again for your work! The parallel to the witch burnings is appropriate.
Thank you for letting us know about Dr. Tess Lawrie’s video! As you know, she is a hero of mine, and I made her the first subject of my new “Profiles in Courage” series (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/profiles-in-courage-dr-tess-lawrie).
One of my readers alerted me that the YouTube video of her Oracle Films piece I had embedded in that article has since gotten scrubbed 🤬 I just linked to the Odysee version (https://odysee.com/@TruthVault:0/Dr-Tess-Lawrie-Interview-Oracle-Films_HD:4) and replaced the embedded video with a couple of alternatives, although the Oracle one is still my favorite, and I recommend everyone watch it.
