A much overlooked test for HPylori is the home baking sida test, which can reveal achlorhydria, a feature of H Pylori overgrowth.
Delayed or insufficient acid production (not overproduction) is alternatively thought to be caused by HP to raise stomach pH (ie less acid) for easier/favourable conditions for HP species. Patients may suffer poor digestion of proteins, burping, nausea, and bloating as gut motility and digestion is impacted. Intestinal Villi and crypt depth reduces in duodenal HP overgrowth further reducing absorptive area. However, triple therapy is not eradicative as per your report, and unnecessary.
Apple cider vingear capsules prior meal, and gastritis treatment like nigella sativa, (black seed oil) have proven to reduce symptoms and supply acid for digestion. Likewise a lifestyle approach including reducing caffeine, smoking and stress reduction plus broad spectrum probiotic courses as required to rebalance gut biota. Many find a course of mastic gum, targeting HP, as tolerated. Chemical eradication is not only impracticable, and antacid tx unhelpful, but symptomatic reductions can be naturally wrought. Ulcers and Malt2 Lymphoma, an unfortunate rarer gastric cancer second to HP overgrowth, are avoidable if patients act quickly and over a sustained holistic approach. HP presence is not the cause, but overgrowth can be problematic and modern pharmaceutical treatments concede ineffectiveness, and deferring to natural adjuncts. Who knew?
“Apple cider vingear capsules prior meal, and gastritis treatment like nigella sativa, (black seed oil) have proven to reduce symptoms and supply acid for digestion. Likewise a lifestyle approach including.” - How marvelous! I’ve suffered “IBSD” my entire life and been on every Pharma med known to “heal” my problem. About 3 months ago I found a thread on X regarding H.Pylori and how to “fix it” using exactly as you said above. I’ve followed that advice since and it’s like a miracle occurred in my bowels! I couldn’t leave the house without taking 2 Imodium and now I take none. 🙏
Croton lechleri, known as “Sangre de Drago” has worked absolute wonders for friends of mine suffering from ulcers. Many years ago while driving through rural Ecuador with a local rancher, I was introduced to the tree that produces the sap. The rancher, who was 100% oriented towards western allopathic medicine and deeply suspicious of the indigenous and their practices, told me that that sap oozing from the bark of the tree had changed his life. He said he had suffered for 35 years from ulcers and that no amount of antibiotics or pills have been able to give him relief. One of his farm hands, a local indigenous man, had suggested he slash the bark and ingest some of the sap oozing from the wound. He told me that he did this and took a little bit daily and within weeks, the pain and all the other associated symptoms of his ulcer disappeared never to return. When I met him, he was still taking it regularly, but infrequently, as a maintenance protocol. I recommended this to the elderly mother of a dear friend of mine who was having similar problems with stomach ulcers and digestion. I mailed her a bottle of the drops and she said within three weeks her symptoms stopped, and the problem cleared up, which is something that years of medical treatments was not able to accomplish. She is still alive and well now in her late 90s so she must be doing something right. I have never had a stomach ulcer or anything like that so I can’t testify that it works for me personally, but the story the Ecuadorian rancher told me convinced me that there was something to it.
I got relief from chronic IBS/ SIBO and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome after taking ivermectin daily for about six weeks. The IBS had gotten much worse after a bout of what symptomatically matched "Covid" in early 2020 and SOMETHING kept on draining my life force for the next eight months as if it was the [nonexistent according to many] Long Covid. Quercetin, zinc, bromelain, NAC, things to support mitochondria were all purchased and consumed as directed with little benefit. I ate kimchi and sauerkraut and sardines like always. I fasted intermittently as usual. I used Emotional Freedom Techniques - tremendously beneficial throughout the last 25 years of my life - but this failed to shift the physiological. I despaired. A dear friend sent me a tube of the veterinary drug and I dosed myself at 0.2 mg/kg. What a joy it was to recover my vitality, to sleep again, to recover appetite and digestion, feel mentally clear and so on. People kept gainsaying me: Ivermectin doesn't work/ can't work/ is not antiviral, Viruses don't exist, Covid infection and Long Covid are psyops not real conditions, Don't waste your money. OK, I said. You all must be right and my lived experience is imaginary. Ivermectin is a terrain fixer then. Is that allowed?
I agree. Ivermectin kills parasites not because it's toxic but because it helps the liver etc eliminate toxins.
Without the toxins, the parasite dies off as its purpose is complete.
Ivermectin is amazing as it took people with multiple comorbidities and avg age of death during COVID and extended their life span.
I don't recommend taking it daily for more than 3 days.
Like you, I've done it once when feeling a bit off and it has helped. I've also taken it without sickness and felt nothing. So whatever side effects claimed are because of too much of a dose or buildup of daily usage.
It seems to me that if a substance is mixed in with other substances, it hasn't been isolated. Therefore, it shouldn't be described as having been "isolated".
Because that would be lying.
It seems to me that this kind of lying is happening a lot.
Brilliant deconstruction of the Koch's postulates problem and how institutional momentum can override methodological rigor. The farmer case study is particularly striking becuase it shows how even severe ulcers can resolve when you remove the actual insults rather than chasing bacteria. My grandmother healed her stomach issues years ago just by cutting out the aspirin she was taking daily for arthiritis. Dunno why this terrain perspective gets so little attention in mainstream medicine.
Your explanation is interesting and timely for me. My father was treated for ulcers several decades ago with diet and I don’t know what kind of pills. He passed from metastasis of what started as stomach cancer. I have read that stomach cancer often follows h pylori infection.
When I personally get heartburn I take a spoonful of apple cider vinegar and it goes away.
The cure proves the cause (and can make it irrelevant). If taking antibiotics to kill the (whatever) bacteria cures the ulcer, the cure proves the cause. If we believe it was a specific bacteria - we may be fooling ourselves... but it doesn't matter. The cure occurred. The cure proved the cause.
When "A farmer healed (cured) his ulcer by changing his diet and managing his stress. No antibiotics required." - the cure proves the cause. Of course in this case we can clearly see multiple causes - "diet" is not a single cause, nor is "stress." We might try to cure the farmer's ulcer surgically, by tackling one single cause at a time - for "scientific" reasons. But the farmer and his doctor don't need to know specific scientific reasons, they need the cure. Changing the diet and stress produces a cure. So diet and stress were the cause. Case closed.
"The cure proves the cause." - Theory of Cure
However, modern medicine ignores cures. So does the Nobel Committee. No Nobel Prize in Medicine has been awarded to a cure in more than 70 years. The prize for "discoveries: that stomach ulcers are caused by Helicobacter pylori bacteria" was not awarded for a cure. Cures are not "Nobel" worthy. Nobody and no Nobel committee cares if the farmer is cured, especially when the farmer's ulcer is cured without an "approved medical treatment," or with a treatment that cannot be adapted to provide an approved medical product. Real cures come from health - from improving healthiness (of diet and stress, for example). So real cures don't count.
This article got me thinking about something: pancreatitis. Patients often have colonies of H.pylori in their pancreas and gall bladder. The treatments mentioned in the comments are very similar to treatments for acid reflux, like apple cider vinegar or Nigella Sativa. I'm wondering if these kinds of problems with stomach valves predispose people to pancreatitis or its partner at the other end of the stomach, SIBO, a process of which very little is known about. The stomach may very well have no issues with H.pylori but the organs assisting the digestion may not. Also if ivermectin worked, then that suggests that a parasite may be involved.
Interesting and eye opening. I was diagnosed with H. Pylori after a Endoscopy and biopsy, then given 10 days of Metronidazole 250 Mg Tablet 4 times a day and Doxycycline Hyclate 100 Mg Cap 2 times a day. I was also told I had acid reflux and given Pantoprazole Sod Dr 40 Mg Tab to take each morning. It screwed up my gut microbiome so much! I then developed C.Diff - was put on Fidaxomicin 200 Mg Tablet 2 times a day for 10 days. No longer have H. Pylori and no longer have C. Diff. I've never taken so much medicine! I now take nothing! I stopped taking my Pantoprazole. I never knew I had H. Pylori and had no symptoms.....I've learned so much from this article. Thank you!
Brilliant article! It's stunning how easily students of medicine are brain washed. As a homeopath, I never take into consideration medical labels because they are so unreliable. Homeopathy relies on the body telling us what's wrong through symptoms. That is reliable.
Without commenting on the virus/no virus issue, my TCM acupuncturist told me decades ago that antibiotics have non pathogenic side effects, which can help certain people's symptoms. He also told me doctors know this, which is why they used to prescribe them even when they knew there were no pathogenic related conditions.
Thankyou for this piece.

Doing your own research and trials, well done. Best wishes for a balanced gut ongoing. 🙏
This is gut healing 101! I’d urge everyone to research the GAPS protocol if they are serious about long term gut health!

No money in the terrain paradigm. Except for the farmers who produce the food.

He got his ulcer on the alkaline side. That also plays a factor. Too little stomach acid also damages it.
BTW, aspirin in low doses is not bad for the stomach and has multiple benefits.
